I love that Blizzard added color blind mode for my specific colorblindness. Definetly improved my own personal gameplay. Watching this makes me realize that all players may have their own issues with the game and need to work around them. It's for sure a reminder to treat all players with kindness and respect because you don't know what they're dealing with to play the game.
I was diagnosed with RP at birth and have played WoW since TBC. My vision has deteriorated a lot. Mainly night vision, light sensitivity and serious tunnel vision. It’s great that there’s tools for us to still enjoy our hobby. I currently only require small UI tweaks like making it more central so I can see everything I need to in one area of the screen.

This is super interesting! Only question i have is how do you percieve strong contrast? also would having a second monitor with a zoomed in area around your mouse be of any benefit for reading small text?
Thank you! High contrast is the best thing in the world for me particularly in any situation. Like a white cup on a black countertop. Many of the other visually impaired players I play with do use multiple time monitors and also use Zoom features in windows in order to zoom in to read things. So there are a whole host of different variations of hardware and software that help us along. I wish the game would have a graphic aspersion that makes it oversimplified and high contrast, especially in like dark areas. That would be so helpful but it’s a game with beautiful rendering and graphics sowe will probably never see that as an option.
Extremely interesting! How long did it take you to set it up and adjust to your liking? I have perfect vision and even for me setting up and adjusting addons takes a while, can't image doing it without vision. Really cool stuff.
Thanks for watching! There is definitely a learning curve, but it really pays off in the end as the other people that use it in our core group can attest to. It has many more powerful features than I actually use so you can use it as little or as much as you like and it’s super easy to just turn off for those situations or maybe you don’t need it at all
If I had a magic wand, it would be wonderful to have SKU navigation work in dungeons and raids. With dungeons and raids we have to follow somebody versus using the heartbeats. Also to have a high contrast mode for graphics so where it takes away all of the super detailed colors and simplify the graphics to very basic only important visuals. The beautiful rendering and colors that are in the game are also what holds us back and confuses us visually impaired when we’re trying to use our eyes and vision that we have remaining. Most people that you see with a cane and glasses and maybe a seeing-eye dog are not completely blind, but have some usable vision left just not enough to make it throughout the day without assistance. That is me exactly :-)
But doesnt this software also get you banned? This isnt a good idea posting this when there ARE haters out there that will do everything in their power to get you banned after seeing this.
@@bean367 imorph isnt bannable but it can be used to highlight chests or gathering nodes with light beams. Same can apply here. This tool he uses can be abused to have better visibility in PvP and PVE over average players.

WoW supports many addons and stuff that changes your visuals officially - this is not bannable.
