How can you tell if you buy a bootleg? I may be buying one of these today locally and dunno if it’s a boot
They won't have plastic covering their joints, other than that that's it. I know this is late but hope it helps
I think they are usually cheap. Around $15- $35 USD bucks
I think the problem is that cap holds his shield with his right hand, so if you fit it on there he will be holding the that handle upwards. I think.
I also have the bootleg of this one and the upper body of mine falls off

I'mma sell my own Captain America, but when I got mine, I wasn't sure if it was legit or not (Bought him from some rando seller, missing the closed left fist).

Bootlegs doin great nowadays coz its made with the same factory as the legit one... it only differ in some paints and packaging still easy fix...

laXeZ 14 actually bootlegs are great to complete collections in case you misa a figure that is way ocerpriced in the second hand market

Try a small cut cut piece of toilet paper or paper towel...i use that when my lego figure pieces fit to loosly and come apart to easily. The paper towel piece helps hold it without having to use superglue.

Quick question, i got my original cap a while back and It came without left belt piece and transparent clear shield holder, u think maybe I should get the KO version to obtain those parts? Would it fit? Do you have the original cap to find out if it works? Thanks a bunch bro

Looks to me you missed some paint slops on the star on his chest bleeding onto his chest and also the A on his head looked very messy but other than that the figure looked OK for a KO thanks for the vid
I bite the bullet and purchased one, it came today and it was great! I just love it! Only some black paint on the stock face that I fixed but while I was messing with it this ocurred... any ideas on how to get it like joined again but with a secure grip? The leg comes out as soon as you push it in...

Some of the ones on Aliexpress aren't necessarily bootlegs, you might be getting defective ones that are from the official run...

It's funny, cuz all these figures make me feel is that I'm not going to buy any Revoltech (either bootleg or official). The proportions on all the ones I've seen look weird. Either way, nice review
Its just revoltech in general they try and make it so you can get some ultimate poses thats why the proportions are weird but it doesnt look bad in poses

Perhaps this seller is a subscriber and recognizes your orders? They ensure you get the choice fig to give them better exposure? The KO toy industry bends to your will, old friend.
dstar01 is Revoltech the actual figure's company or is Revoltech the clone's company name?
Ron Hunt the bootleg is named exactly the same way and using the same exact art reprinted from the original just slightly a bit dull from the original. If you dont own an original revoltech you cant tell them apart.. I own one of these too yesterday and it is great.. Of course because I watch dstar reviews first before buying.
The clones are also named after the original "revoltech" .

I bought a bootleg revoltech wolfie and it was BAD! It was all deformed and everything. I like this fig but not real big on revoltech look. But its CAP, MAN! Want to take a chance but afraid of getting stiffed!

Why do revoltechs has to have large thighs?
I think Cap should be muscled up some. Chris Evens was still to small. He just buffed up so woman would watch him. I think if you took a real super soldier forumila should give more muscle and strength.
The old Captain America Comics especially. the 70s Cap was like huge in his arms and legs.
