- I apologize for rambling on in this one. I normally would have edited it down, but left it uncut to give a true sense of how quickly this happened. If you want to skip ahead to the action, it's right around the 6:00 mark.

YOU ARE THE MAN WHEN IT COMES TO TRADITIONAL BOW HUNTING. REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THIS ONE. THANKS FOR SHARING. BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER ONE IN A COUPLE DAYS. 👍👍
I want to Thank you, keep the privilege and the outdoors in your heart always.
You make things look easy but I tip my hat to you. Taking deer consistently with traditional bows takes skill, knowledge, and hard work. I hunt much of the same terrain on public in SC and your videos have inspired me and taught me a lot. Thank you for letting us join you! I can’t wait for the next one!
Great video
Thanks for posting. Great production! Nice job with the wood!
Great video as always dude. You got me ready to try my luck this year.
Chris, great video.
I love how it came together so fast for ya. I like your attention to how many youve taken. I do the same thing. Thanks for sharing.
Nice buck and nice shot. Keep on laying them down.
love your videos, congrats on the nice buck. I was wondering if you were going go after the hog LOL.
I enjoy your videos l live in tenn l have lot's of persimmon trees but l have seen over the last 35 years alot of my persimmons will drop late like in November then the deer don't seem to hit them because of acorns what's your thoughts on why lot's of my trees don't drop in September and October thanks
Awesome! Wish you would've gotten that hog too! You should have your own show. Enjoy your videos! And, appreciate your intense desire to kill critters! Nice work!
He did eventually start toward me, but when he hit the deer's bloodtrail, he decided he had somewhere else he needed to be.
Ya might have been rambl'n...but dang that was awesome brother! Nice harvest with the stick & string! Booyaakah! I take a deer every yea with a real wood arrow...I make a point of it...the rest are with carbon wood over lay's...nice job!
Man you were sitting there talking with the deer and I could see the blood still easin out of the entry wound. Those Tree Sharks do a number !!! Great video, thx for bring us along. Hopefully there are more to come. BTW, pretty 6 point !!!
Great video, congrats on your buck!!
Can you show the set up you use for public land? I would also like some tips for scouting.
Where do y’all find most of your persimmon trees at? Seems we have them in either creek drainages or along older field edges? Not really found any just growing in the woods…
The ones in the swamp will almost always be located near (within 20-30 yards) a wet edge, whether it's a creek, slough, or branch drainage. It may not be wet all the time, but will be an area that holds water during rainy/wet weather. This usually goes hand in hand with a slight elevation change. There are exceptions, though, so you have to keep your eyes peeled.
Congratulations on a very nice deer Chris where were you hunting this time
