@Tjoeb123 what I meant was, the genesis/mega drive didn't use sound fonts. People just turn genesis instrumentation into sound fonts. The genesis originally used FM synthesis, square waves, and low quality audio samples.

Not exactly. I believe the way it is in-game wouldn't run on real hardware. I at least try to make it sound like it would.
