I took a 7 year break from COD and came back and got slaughtered. I use to be a player that dropped 21/0, 35/4 games 8 out of 10 times. So I have to get map knowledge again, I started 3 weeks late so people already ahead, and TTK is way faster in this game.
The skill based matchmaking is broken, one game im dropping 40+ easy, next game im getting rinsed by some vampire who hasnt seen daylight in a very long time
Dont worry guys as soon as you start following these tips SBMM will put you into lobbies were everyone else already knows them and nothing will ever change no matter how much you improve. SBMM has turned cod into shadow boxing instead of fighting a different type of player each game
2:28 it's the opposite. You can't predict where enemies are spawning depending on teamates positioning because it just takes one enemy who flanked or is in a random place for whatever reason will cause their whole team to spawn there
Literally every COD in existence lol people talk about this every year spawn flipping and spawns. It has literally never changed in more than a decade. Some games were better with spawns than others and many times there were spawn issues when the games first dropped that they got right later on but it's been the same forever.

ive been playing cod since black ops 2, i normally do not struggle whatsoever and would call myself a pretty good player but somehow this year the game feels so much different, not in a bad way because i really enjoy it but something is off for me and i really need to adjust to it again
The best tip I have is to play more tactically for multiplayer. Don't crouch walk through the map, but also don't sprint straight through all the buildings because if you have you gun already aimed in close quarters you'll probably win. I find sprinting around is only really useful in Ground war/invasion because of the big maps. And always, always listen for the enemy footsteps and the direction their grenades because you might be able to pinpoint their location.
Just downloaded yesterday and ive noticed a lot of what I consider “mobile campers” dudes will sit in one spot behind a crate or something then catch you.. then just move to another spot a 10-15 ft away behind another object
Turn off auto tac sprint I know we loved it in warzone and mw2019 but they slowed the ads down a lot from sprint to fire. So just get back to using double tap or single hold.
For some reason enemies for me don’t always have a diamond icon over their head. Only sometimes when there’s smoke. So sometimes I don’t even see anyone because they blend too well with the map which causes me to die. Does anyone have the same issue?
When all you play is free for all death match, you don't have to worry about what color icon is above the other players. You know e everyone else is an enemy.
What do I do when I am ADSing because I hear someone coming, and when they come around the corner I start shooting first because they don't even see me, and then they insta melt me and kill cam shows they were so deep in the red that they had 1 health left. The shoot first/die first in this game is so unbelievable there's nothing you can do except back out and find a new match where your guns actually work properly.
@@dexcova7141 It seems to only be those impossible games that you get, where the entire other team melts you instantly with every angle covered, and your team just gets destroyed and you can't move around the map. Your guns for some reason don't work in there. Then you leave and find a new match and suddenly your guns work and you can run around the map.
@@sohsuh7625 it's because they are taking advantage of exploits. I've seen it happen a handful of times and then I watched a video the other day and it clicked. Had a situation in spec ops where the map npcs couldn't see me apparently and I have a feeling it was the other guy I'd been paired with.

I think modern warfare is so messed up how the f can the enemy see me but I can not see them it doesn't make sense. I Also think the damn maps suck ass and if you spawn in one side of the map you always loose and if you get the good side of the map you always win it doesn't make sense

I’m so bad at this game. I’m pretty good at games in general. Always been good at games like battlefield, csgo, halo, NUTTY at tarkov. But for some reason I just get completely destroyed every game in mw2. It’s really frustrating
MW2019 was my game, mw2 feels like I get shat on every time. I really believe it’s the design of these type of maps. There’s so many angles where people can come from to the point where it’s almost impossible to be aggressive. I feel far more hesitant and passive in this game
The logic behind it is so when you shoot at someone jumping you will hit their legs or miss instead of hitting body shots or headshots which reduces TTK. In low skill or MMR lobbies people don’t jump shot correctly so it might feel like it does nothing but against pros or higher MMR lobbies it often makes the difference.
al these youtubers are getting lobbies where enemies don’t shoot back, walk around clue less but my lobbies are a bunch of tryhards and die from behind all the time
Lol I had a guy in my TDM game yesterday with 132 deaths. How’s that possible you ask? because he would spawn in and RPG the floor and continuously suicide in order to tank his SBMM rating and to get into worse lobbies. Honestly if you see a youtuber outright pub stomping a TDM with like 60 kills in this game, they might of just got themselves in to a bot lobby. I mean don’t get me wrong, i’ve had high kill games in this game too. I think my best is like 47 in a TDM? But jesus - most of the times i’m getting people that are of equal skill, and those games are becoming fewer and fewer
A million thumbs up. I've yet to be in a lobby where I'm not the lowest level and worst player. Tonight EVERY player on both teams were level 55, all clearly running Ghost and I'm at level 20 something constantly being targeted because I'm the only one who shows up. I find this game frustrating for a new player and I'm about to the point of just quitting altogether. No matter how many of these videos I watch I will never get better because I'm never with people my low skill level they're all perfect aim shots that see me through smoke , around corners, etc and the shoot first die first is stupid strong. In 2019 MW I easily drop 60 to 100 kills per game depending on map ofc, and I get this shit pasted game and can barely get 10 per game, and if I do I'm still 10 and 20, not to mention however the fuck the camos work, I'm over here scratching my balls trying to figure out why I have no attachment but a max level gun and the receiver shit makes no sense and this game is pissing me off and I'm about to go back to 2019 mw

Game punishes you for being aggresive on certain maps and everything is a lot slower to so it's most def different from the previous cods

Yeah changing colors is a must I ussually do pink but this year ur allowed to change the sharpness and hue. So u can have a really really bright red

Hey I changed my aim assist settings to black ops and aim assist curve to dynamic and it makes your aim more sticky

Jump shooting is one of those things that people do that actually does nothing. I’ve never died to someone because they jumped lol.
