Only thing i use drones for is scouting out old or lost tracks or sending my phone up for reception when its remote. On another note. There is a 2nd parallel Bobs track that is a hidden jem just north of boranup. Used to be hectic slow scratchy rocky track but it has since been rebuilt. Definitely have to check it out 🤙🏾

"I don't like those sounds" ... "brand new car" ... mate, at least you're using it for what it's designed for! Dents and scratches add character, easy to fix the scratches with a bit of paint and sealer :P. Looks like a tonne of fun! Really wish I could do this again....
I've just bought one as I love fishing but I also want to make a bracket for my Hikmicro Thermal monocular hopefully the wifi will still have good range from Monocular to tablet
@louiskudlak2256 yep 600ah 😀 I previously had 200ah of lithium and it wasn't enough. So I've future proofed the setup now. I charge so many devices for filming, custom lighting for filming, induction cooking, starlink and other devices. Plus I like to be able to be off grid for as long as I like & never have to worry about looking at the charge levels. I got tired of stressing if my batteries would die while camping

Hey mate if your just starting out and don't intend to go fishing with it one of the dji mini's would be a great first drone. They can't handle the wind like bigger drones but they still have some great features. You can always upgrade down the track if you enjoy flying the drone 👍
Would love nothing more than to cover the hilux in bush wrapz but I just can't afford it unfortunately. It's very expensive and I just don't have the money

I watched two guys done fishing at Wynnum Brissy. I could hear the drone flying then splash......I thought 'they ain't meant to do the splash bit' Turns out this guy only had his drone for a week and his missus urged him to not get it. Poor bloke needs a new drone AND a new missus. 3.5k down the gurgler!
Haha wow 😯 yeah my dji is worth $3.5k aswell and there's no way I was going to risk a normal drone trying drone fishing. So many times over the years I've been tempted to buy the attachment for it to try it but I just couldn't bring myself to risk it. I could never afford to replace it if anything happened lol. At least now I have a drone designed for drone fishing so I feel much more confident sending a drone out to see now 😀
I was only fishing for an hour and only baited up twice. The rest of the bait I gave to the birds. Yes typically I would have it in an esky. It was in my freezer in the 4wd until I started fishing so it was frozen the entire time
