Thank you very much for these Videos. No fluff and a working system in less than 10 minutes! Way better content than most of the larger productivity UA-camrs in my opinion. Only thing I changed is calling step one a collection of ideas instead of a mind map. I read a book from Tony Buzan, and he really emphasizes creating the map in a non-linear way using colours and pictures to activate both sides of the brain and engage with the topic more. Writing it down in a list style will not really do that. I added creating a mind map by hand at the end of every revision note, together with the Feynman technique.
This is helpful for me as a student since I'm attending an online class. UA-cam recommends obsidian. At first, I'm confused about obsidian since I don't use notion either. But when I watch this I understand the obsidian better and now I'm planning to use obsidian to improve my notes ✨ tysm!!!
Thank you for your kind comments. I hope this video helps with your studies. I am currently studying for Microsoft exams with the same techniques. Good luck.
The spaced repetition plugin is quite nice and works well for flash cards and reviewing notes for incremental writing. Have you tried it? Are there other benefits to exporting to Anki? I also need to try the mind map plugin more often. I’ve been trying to make better use of Excalidraw for mind maps as well (especially with its new updates) but I haven’t figured the right way to code it. Great video btw!
Thanks for your kind comments. I have been using Anki for a long time for exam preparations. It has its own mobile app that questions can be synced to, people share their own questions so you download them and not need to prepare your own, it also has its own addons to add other features. I have not seen the spaced repetition plugin. I will give it a try.
Hi I am trying to figure out what to use Spaced Repeatition plugin or Obsidian to Anki plugin? I want to give a try to both of them. But I don't know how to use both of them in the first place. Are there any articles or videos, tutorials on explaining how to use both of them?
@Siv Ah, I forgot about the shared decks option. I see the greater appeal. Mobile access must be nice. @@clarkkent8005 I’m not sure about other videos but you can use the same flash card syntax in the spaced repetition plugin as you find in Remnote tutorials on UA-cam. But if you still have trouble (with their documentation linked on their community plugins page), I’d check the official Obsidian forums.
All of your obsidian videos are excellent. Very informative and on point. Super helpful.
Glad you like them!

Awesome Video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Very useful information, thanks 👍
Great video bro.
For math it sucks that on anki i need to use $ for starting the environment and in anki \[. Any way around that?

Hello, i don't find "TextSniper". The plugin is dead ? :/ Any other doing the same job ?
It's an apply for mac OS only and not an obsidian's plugin (my bad). Alternative for Windows ?
I have used this occasionally

Great explanation! Keep it up!
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate the encouragement!
I'm 3:28 in and can't stand it anymore, stop that stupid 5 second music loop!
