i dont get t cuz first round was 6sc, then the stich marker then added another 6sc so doesnt hat equal 12 for the first round

First round only 6 SC into the magic ring.
* Put stitch marker into the 1st SC to mark a point is just advise for beginner to prevent loss count.

Hi, for each round that increase will use 2 sc to increase the stitch. 2 sc means 2 single crochet into same stitch
Example for Round 3 (Increase):
When finish Round 2, we have 9 sc total around.
For the Round 3 FULL step: 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2sc. Total will be 12 sc.
So from Round 2 (9 sc) to Round 3 (12 sc) is a increase because from 6 to 9.
