I've had this wallet for a few months now, and I absolutely love it. It has all the storage capacity I need in a small form factor. I have eight cards and of course some bills stuffed in, and yet it still sits comfortably in my front pocket. Thank you for reviewing it; I never would have found my perfect wallet otherwise!
I’ve had this wallet for a little while as well. Most trifolds involve compromises. If you want capacity, you usually get an very large/thick wallet. You want slim, you lose capacity. This wallet strikes a perfect balance between size and capacity-it can carry plenty of cards and cash and has a profile, when closed, that’s very similar to most wrap card holder wallets. Kangaroo leather is another plus. It’s super strong, thin, and patinas REALLY fast (compared to cow leather). Can’t recommend it enough.
Fun fact: their wallets are based on Sydney suburbs where you have Redfern, Annadale, Bondi and a few others that they sell and the names are of those suburbs.
I have had two Nivisto wallets exclusively over the past 5-6 years and I think they are unmatched in offering full customizable, beautifully designed, hand made wallets to order for prices nearly anyone could afford that last for many years. They are exceptionally thin, very durable (but not scuff resistant, they get love marks easily), patina nicely and have very good fit and finish. More people should be buying these
First wallet you've reviewed in a while that I could see myself using. Tempted. I love that it's a thin trifold that stacks card directly on top of each other instead of being offset.
Nice review mark. Good looking wallet, I'm not a tri-fold guy but still a good looking wallet with obvious quality. On another note Mark, I recieved my STR Handmade "Bramble" wallet today in the mail. Holy cow, the quality of this Lithuanian craftsman is unreal. Buttero leather in oxblood color with red, hand stitching is just about perfection. If I could send ya a pic on here, I would. Ashland, Craft & Lore and similar companies need to take comfort that he's in a Eurpean country with a crappy postal service. If he were in the U.S., he'd seriously be real competition to these type of smaller companies.
I’m Australian and most the people I know 17-20 hrs old only hold 2-4 cards and 2 notes in the back of their phone case and the polymer notes are just great
Hi your videos are great and show the wallets really well, you have some pretty original content here. I have a suggestion for the cash insertion test tho. In some of your other videos it sometimes doesn't give that good idea of how much can a wallet realistically fit so maybe having a part when you try stuffing as much coins and cards as possible inside of it to show its limits could be often really helpful
Being in Canada, that's one thing I like about the Frenchie wallets, the cash seems to have less friction so easy to pull out the right bill you need. :). (from your comment on the polymer currency)
Another amazing video. I have a question, could you put cards in the center section like Swainfield? All from the front, put 2 cards in. Hope that makes sense. That way you could access both from the front vs putting it that slot from behind in the billfold area?
Nice one Mark! Hello from Sydney, I even live next to Redfern but never hear of this wallet! It fits all my criteria. So, what to you think of this one compare to the Slim sleeve?
Slim Sleeve is a bifold, this one is a trifold, but they're essentially the same thickness. With a full billfold pocket and if you carry cash, it's a winner.
I had a polymer $50 bill one winter up in Canada and that bill split clean in two, maybe from the cold? Perhaps it was a fluke, the bank replaced it no questions asked. I love the security features, but it does take some getting used to.
Hello Mark. I really liked this wallet so I decided to buy one. I'm currently using it now but it's really stiff. How do you break in your wallets? Thank you for this channel. it's amazing and I love it
Great to hear, it's an excellent wallet. Using it, that's the best way. Another would be to use leather conditioner (it's also called "dressing") on it and rub it in good. There are a few other home recipe options too, but that's the fastest way to soften up tough leather.
I’ve always wanted one of those Kangaroo ball sack coin bags! 😯 😂 👍🏻 Not a bad wallet really. Still seems thin too. Oh yeh, I really dislike the polymer notes for that.
I'm looking to get a new wallet. Currently debating between the Bellroy slim sleeve premium, Anson Calder card wallet with cash slot, or Harber London card wallet. What's your favorite of those three? Any recommendations?
Love Australian products…but this has awful sewing….they need to improve on that.I had the wallet from Farrah design for 7 months now as my daily carry and it has been brilliant. Great review 👍🏼
This is excellent sewing on this piece 😂😂😂 It is the product of using very thick as well dark thread in contrast to the rest of the piece. Good straight stitch lines. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Kangaroo leather is my favorite hide to see in wallets due to its thinness, but durability like you have a 3.5oz leather, so amazing.

Totally agree!

Great review Mark! Definitely will purchase a Congoroo Leather for my future product. Heard lots of good things about it
Thanks

Ooo that looks like it will patina nicely. Great review and one of the few trifold wallets I’d consider carrying again
This is one of your most entertaining reviews!

Great point! Extraction would be much easier.
Not my kinda wallet but I'm sure someone can appreciate it. Great review as always.
My Bryker Hyde money clip keep my polymer bank notes in line. Just discovered another plus about my wallet.

Yes, that would work just fine!
That wallet does look nice.
I'm surprised tri-fold wallets are still being made. Great video as always.
Some people «me included» love to have their money without folding the cash, trifolds are the way to go
Review the Strayer Front Pocket Wallet by Werther Leather Goods PLEASE...
Any chance of reviewing the Woronora wallet from Nivisto?
Won't the middle cards fall out once the wallet breaks in?

Wow! That’s a new one for me, that’s one of the hallmarks of the poly notes is their durability.

Oh wow for a trifold it's really thin! Which one do you prefer Mark? This or Farrah wallet?
I would say this one. Full billfold pocket and as thin as a Bellroy Slim Sleeve.
I’ve always wanted one of those Kangaroo ball sack coin bags! 😯 😂 👍🏻 Not a bad wallet really. Still seems thin too. Oh yeh, I really dislike the polymer notes for that.

In order, Slim Sleeve, Anson Calder, then Harber.
Is there anywhere you could store a key? I was thinking that inside pocket but it looks quite loose.
It would be a bit loose for a key to be in the wallet, there’s nowhere tight enough to hold it
México pesos no? ;/
Peso's fit, no problem.

That's Australian dollars
Awesome but now says $90
Australian dollars, the exchange rate pulls it down when converted to US dollars.
