Nations League is good fun, Italy do well in it, and it's needed for sure!
The number of games is destroying the players health though
@@ItaFootPod a lot of fans in the PL don't think so. They get paid huge amounts of money and the fans what their sport of club to play as much as possible. I'm not sure what the answer is. I was listening to Talksport and I don't think there being to many games is an issue with the fans or pundits. It's a problem for the managers and the players. It's hard to relate I feel. I personally think the Nations League has been fantastic. Way better than friendlies and there's reward and it's definitely helped Italy national team. Is there too many games probably but I'm not sure what the answer is.
I’m happy inter rallied despite the injuries and got the win. As for Roma, I can’t believe a coach still hasn’t been able to make Soule and Dybala work at the same time. Why not use a 4-1-4-1 formation, with Soule wide right, Dybala could be one of the two central attacking mids behind the striker, Pellegrini the other (but drop back more). Zalewski wide left. A holding mid like Kone could anchor the midfield and provide defensive cover for the attacking mids. I would try get the most talented players on at the same time. Also it’s crazy they spent all the money and not using Soule.
Agree about all of those points about the match congestion needed to be fixed. It’s ridiculous overkill, and the game is suffering as a consequence

That first half from Inter was absolutely atrocious, the worst first half of the season. Players are exhausted

European international football needs to create a tier system so that qualifiers don't need to waste time having big countries having to play home and away against minnows like San Marino, Gibraltar etc. That is one thing that the Nations League at least does well.
Exactly why it should be a summer tournament played at a neutral venue.
