Funny my nephew was Christened last week en he’s also called Joseph, and two Brazilians and a fella married to a Brazilian in our Legion of Mary group have all called their sons José in the last year! 💚 Great testimony, similar to myself I came back to my faith by truly seeking, “But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides”. Going back to Confession, praying the rosary and then in time going to daily mass are the best decisions I’ve made. It’s the only way we’ll achieve full peace in this life and the hope for Sainthood in heaven in the next. Fair play for getting Keith on lads God Bless from Belfast 👍🏼☘️
Most people only “cry out” to God in the pits of despair, this is standard stuff, and that’s when God reveals himself. Most people sleepwalk through life thinking they’re good people. Since the fall of Adam and Eve we have the stain of Original Sin, it’s only cleansed off us through our baptism. Every day we sin, venial (small, damage our relationship with God) and mortal (big, separate us from God). It’s only through Confession that we reestablish that relationship with God, and it enables the Holy Spirit to dwell within us once more. That’s why you have some people who just talk about God constantly (because they are literally “possessed” (voluntarily - it’s a good thing) by the Holy Spirit), and you have the rest of the population just getting on with life, not realising they are ultimately on a path that won’t lead them to heaven. It’s only through Christ that we get to heaven, and in the Catholic Faith we have the fullness of the truth and the greatest of weapons in Our Lady, who is the surest, easiest and fastest way to go to Jesus (St Louis de Montfort). Keith if you read this what is your favourite bible verse or one you tend to say frequently? I only started reading the bible and becoming obsessed with god about 2 months ago but like urself I feel like a different person
Im delighted for yeah keith i moved out from Tallaght myself i used to chat with you on our road when we would meet,you would be out walking your dog or sitting beside you on the Luas from the square heading into Town or meeting you in Rovers.You opened up to me on the Luas one day you were on your way into a therapy session.I also would class myself as been a lot closer to God through following Jesus myself.God Bless you Keith and your new Son and your Soul mate you found your wife and Mother of your Son. The devil will always have a boat waiting for you. Google that my Friend and keep up the hard work.Its not easy been a Christian these days im really glad i found this video. 🙏💚🤍🧡🙏
