You are correct. There are lot more interesting and fascinating things lying round the earth to see than spending 250K and risking life under water. Expeditions like that isn't just aimed to take challenge but is a matter of bragging in lieu of money. This is unnecessary.
That's like saying you don't need to go visit the Taj Mahal because you can see it on Google images. Being actually there to see something in real life is a completely different experience. Admit it-if you had something like $100 million, then you'd go down there too. Middle-class people take vacations and pay expensive plane tickets to have experiences in other places. This is the kind of experiences that the uber rich .01% people, pay for.
I always get goosebumps when underwater submersibles shine their lights on the approach to the wreck and you see the forward well deck and its so obvious it's the Titanic and in recognizable condition
The Titanic took over 73 years to be found after she sank at a depth of about 12,500 feet, but her rescue ship Carpathia took over 81 years to be found after she sank at a depth of somewhere between only 500 and 600 feet. As for her ignoring ship, the SS Californian, she sank at a depth that is believed to be even deeper than the Titanic and even to this time in 2024, she still hasn't been found.
Nah, OceanGate actually brought you down there to the ocean floor. What an amazing experience it must have been. Oh, and other submersibles could have had catastrophic failure too; I mean they are 13,000 feet underwater, after all.

They've found dishes (that they brought back up) in the wreckage with the company name. I believe they've also found lifesavers with the Titanic name as well. All of this can be found in the Titanic Museum.
Couldn't it be salvaged to land by using strong ships and cranes? If it is not possible now then i hope in the near future the entire Titanic will be recovered from ocean bed.
Any attempt to move it will result in the ship collapsing in on itself. It’ll just break down into a million pieces since it’s been deteriorating for so long. It could’ve been possible back when it first sank but it’s not possible now.
One it would never withstand being moved without crumbling to bits. Two, that would be so disrespectful and downright wrong. People died at that spot. You wouldn't dig up graves in a cemetery, this is no different.
Way too late now for that to be a reality. The ship would fall apart on its way up. It’s disintegration is accelerating. It’s been down there for 111 years, it couldn’t be done now without completely destroying the wreck.

I don't know why the band on the Titanic gets so much kudos for continuing to play as the ship sank. Personally, I think they would be more useful if they'd stopped jamming, rolled up their sleeves and lent a hand with the lifeboats.

Once a luxury ship. Today lying in the deep depth of the Atlantic so sad to see this. May peace be with all the souls who perished in this disaster.
I'm looking at the wreck of the Titanic, and I didn't have to spend $250k or risk being imploded.
