LIVE: American Airlines jet, military helicopter crash in DC; search-and-rescue underway

First responders are quickly searching the Potomac River in Washington D.C. after an American Airlines passenger plane and a military helicopter collided mid-air Wednesday night.
American Airlines said 60 people and 4 crew members were aboard the plane. Sources told FOX News three people were aboard the military helicopter, which was reportedly on a training mission.
American Airlines Flight 5324 departed Wichita, Kansas and was preparing to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport in D.C.
