Those same jigs are killers in the saltwater for a whole bunch of species. Anyone who is getting started in the salty stuff should definitely have some. They're a great crossover bait.

Hey Randy thanks for the great video more great information. I never get any bites on swimsuits and sometimes I think it's because I'm bank fishing. Because look at where you said to use them. I gotta try to get myself a Jackson 360 this year so I can fish the points and secondary points I'll subscribe to your New channel right now I've been dealing with my medical issues and it's been really hard on me anyway. I'm ... still ... learning/trying to pair baits with correct hooks/sizes.
I have 1/8oz Okashira jig heads. 👍
They have 3/0 hooks.
Keitech's website recommends a 3/0 hook for the 4.3" Fat Swing Impact.
But yours is not 4.3". ( 2.8" ? )
So, I got cognitive dissonance going on. 😵‍💫
Is the _length of hook shank_ an important consideration in hook choice?

If it helps at all, just pair the hook up to the bait you’re using, if it looks too big it probably is, same for too small. Sounds like you’re overthinking it a bit. Good luck
