Simon was the one who brought the whole thing to life. With little time or resources he was able to bring in amazing noir shots filled with atmosphere. The shot in this documentary of Collin standing before his window with the yellow reflections is just one of his hundreds of great images throughout.

Having never seen this show before, it was fascinating to hear about how much love and passion was put into the project, and how everyone cared about it behind the scenes too. If the network had just believed a little bit more, trusted the potential, and been more hands-off with the material, or even come out a few years later, especially with Noelle DuBois' portrayal of Dr. Sterling, it would be more well-known and had more seasons. Alas, one can only wonder about the possibilities, and be grateful for what we have....

There's a bit from an episode that really seemed like it was from something like Westworld or maybe even Trek: the anti cloning protestors get inside the building, and are stopped by an Android. One of the protestors sets of a bomb, and the android saves the other protestor.
As they're fixing him up, the owner of the company comes to see him, mainly because they're perplexed at why the android saved him. The guy says something bout the "3 laws" and how they must "protect human life", but the owner says that his droids are built with a cost benefit program (they're supposed to protect valuable things, not all humans), so on some level the droid saw more value in the protestor's continued existence then it's own.

Before my ma blocked all the non-family pay-cable channels, I skipped the shows for “those scenes” (at least I found them VOD) but they seemed so interesting without them. And I was shocked that no one on UA-cam talked about them.
After your sexy shows video, I searched if the show was available anywhere and they were! You know where they are. I’ve only seen the first four or five episodes so far because they were several other shows from other UA-camrs I watched that they recommended that I’ve been binging all year. But it’s nice to know they’re getting the attention they deserve and not just because they’re hot.

Nice to see that Cinemax and the movie channels that were on cable TV did not get lost to the pages of history. Interesting to see such an in-depth presentation that delves into the adult-oriented block of "after dark programming" and acknowledging that it was indeed a real thing. Also, 31:25 - speaking of jealousy in relationships getting in the way of acting careers, I bet you know the story of Liam Neeson's wife forbidding him to accept the role of James Bond (she was his girlfriend at the time, and said she wouldn't marry him if he did it, and the rest is history). Side note: I've never heard the term "crotch opera" before, it's perfect slang lmao.
