Who will inspect roads? Inspection of cars while not inspecting roads makes no sense, as many roads are not roadworthy, and people pay for roads. What actions can br taken by citizens to take action against, not just roads that are not roadworthy, but roads construction that is substandard that can cause vehicles and people harm.
If this act won't address the issue of boda bodas riding on the wrong side of the road then it's useless. Only in Kenya where in a dual carriage one is forced to look both ways because of boda bodas

A)When you are arrested for any traffic offence/offences and taken to a police station, you pay a cash Bail B)The cash Bail will state the court and date to appear before it. Uganda has better rules on traffic, you mess, you are given a charge sheet to pay at the bank while they detain your documents which you'll collect after paying at the bank. That charge sheet expires in two months time

There is no amendment of Section 36 of the Traffic Act (Production of Driving Licence) by The Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act, 2024. It only amends Section 117 of the Traffic Act.

This can be challenged as unconstitutional because there was no public participation and this amendment meets the threshold.
