    question! Are those grills? so no fire burning but you can use charcoal? Really nice tour, added to my "to go" list

      It says it on the board at 0:40, wood fires and ground fires are prohibited and not to leave charcoal fires unattended. So charcoal is permitted as long as it's not on the ground.

      Thank you, yes they have grills that can be used with charcoal only. They also have a designated spot to dispose of the used coals. Big Bend is truly awesome! You’ll definitely enjoy it.

    Do you like having an RV over a tent?🏕️

    • @outdoormary
      @outdoormary  6 місяців тому

      I like both for different reasons. The tent is great because it can go on campsites where the RV won't fit, also many times it's more affordable to just throw the tent in the trunk of a much smaller car and go, rather than spending tons of money on gas to use a big truck to pull the RV. I'm still not great at backing in with a RV, so it's nice not to have to worry about that with a tent. But, the RV is great because of the convenience of having a bathroom and kitchen, and better protection from the weather. But, I would say I use the tent 30 % of the time, and RV 70 % of the time.

      I’ve had both too. I like an RV because a majority of what you take is pack so just hook up pack groceries and go. A tent is a feeling in nature like no other. Wake up and unzip the tent to birds chirping with a beautiful view and cooking breakfast outside is right where I want to be. Both are nice. I don’t get out much as I use to so I live through yours and others adventures so I greatly thank you for that. I do have a very beautiful state park near me when missing nature is too much. Thanks again for sharing it means more than you know to many.

      @@naturegirl5681 , Im happy to hear that you enjoy the videos. I feel the same way you do! If I can’t go outdoors myself, I at least like to enjoy the outdoors through others! Being out in nature brings me so much peace! I’m glad it does the same for you!🙏🏽
