Yo bro, I want to start this by saying I enjoyed the content and I'm dropping a like. Secondly I'd like to give a warning that what I'll say next might be an opinion that's not popular, but I want to say that it's coming from a love of gaming as someone whose been playing competitive games since Doom, Quake, and Unreal Tournament back in the 90's and early 2000's. Moved onto Counter Strike, Battlefield, CoD and etc. I agree with you that I don't think that XDefiant is going to be the CoD killer, and unfortunately the reason being is shown on your stream with your controller input viewer in the bottom left hand corner. As someone who came up from playing on computer and only using mouse and keyboard watching almost every (not all, but the majority) fight it looks to me like once the shooting starts interacting with the right stick drops to almost nothing, on MnK this would basically mean as soon as I get into a fight I just stop moving my mouse and only left click. Basically as everyone knows at this point I'm referring to aim assist. With that being said I in no way think that aim assist should be removed from games, I think that would be unfair to those that choose to play on controller and would severely disadvantage them (Being that I did play the crap out of Halo on the original X-Box before the current level of aim assist in games existed) but at the same time I do think the current level of aim assist in games severely disadvantages MnK players and makes these types of games just undesirable for those of us that still want to compete and have fun. What I think the fix for this going forward would be is for them to allow the level of aim assist currently used from the beginning, and as you improve and your stats show you've improved then the aim assist level can weaken just enough so you can adjust, and get back quickly to hitting the same stats, or getting even better, after an amount of time where that happens then the AA starts to weaken again, and so and and so forth until it's still there, but weak, and what's left is most raw skill, the same way us MnK players have to slog through hours of playing the game or using aim trainers just to attempt to get better. I think that until game devs start adopting this kind of mentality and balance for all players the games are going to continue the way they've been going, where there's hype around the game, and then by month 2 or 3 the majority of the player base falls off and all that's left is 25% of the first month and the "hardcore crowd" and most of those not even MnK player either, just other controller players that maybe don't know all the tricks and etc to keep the aim assist how they want it. Either way, again, good content, keep making it, and take it easy dude!
Here's a much better fix. Don't have Crossplay. It's never made sense. PC always had a HUGE advantage over console. Now that games have stronger aim assist its still not equal. So just get rid of Crossplay.
@@HARLEM-NEWYORK That's not a reasonable fix, then it locks people out of being able to play with their friends if they can't afford $1000 + for a PC, and they're definitely that much minimum for entry now with the lowest end graphics cards costing like $400. That's how console/PC was in the late 2000's and through most of the 2010's and there's no technical reason for it because a console IS a PC, whether you choose X-Box or Playstation all you're getting is a custom System on a Chip PC made by AMD/Radeon. (Nintendo is still stuck on ancient hardware for some reason) The only real "low cost to entry" solution would then be the cheap handhelds like the Steam Deck for $600, then you would have to tell people "Oh well you're locked to 30 - 60 fps, no 120 + fps option for you!" I personally think Crossplay and the ability to jump on games with my friends who don't own a PC is fine, just balance the games better.

Newzoo's 2023 PC & Console Gaming Report states that 70% of PC and/or console players played on more than one platform over a six-month period." That's a ridiculous notion that we should just revert back to the stone age of gaming where I can't play games like Helldivers 2 for example because "Oh well they're on console and I'm not buying a console to play one game with my friends" or "Oh I can't play this game with my friend because they're on PC and I don't have $1500 for a PC for one game" I mean if we're strictly talking about competitive tournaments? Sure, I can agree there, but crossplay has so much more than competitive, and crossplay shouldn't be locked behind "well you can only play people on this platform, and only people who are using this input device" when we're talking about casual. That literally from a technological standpoint makes no actual sense other than to gate keep people behind certain devices, and lock them into a paywall.
