I love this pedal, but, people are having the exact same as me... and
I'm finding out that there are hundreds of people out there if not
thousands having the same problem of noise, a almost wind like noise,
not from high gain but simply turning the pedal on and trying to get any
compression! I've sprayed the insides etc and still this noise!

yes, same here. How did you solve the problem in the end? I don’t know if I should try to stand the problem. When I turn on the pedal, everything is normal. But minutes later the wind like noise comes out.
@@kuan3011 I still have the pedal and never use it because I've never been able to fix the problem... I have many other compressors, boss, JHS, DOD, and more and none of them have this problem.

I only need to replace the knobs/pots and the noise will go down?
I'm not sure if your pedal has the same problem with this, then replacing new pots will improve much. Thanks
Is this why the recent reissue is so loud? What kind of new pots did you put on? Just standard or something special? I’m new to pedals and just bought a reissue yesterday and I’m pretty sure I’m having a similar problem with noise. Maybe you could look into the recent reissue and see if you could fix the problem that a ton of people are having.
Hi Mass, i have no idea about most of the reissue one got noisy like this. I have used alpha pot to replace the bad one.

I replaced the 500k pot but now I get no sound when it is on -only on bypass 😢

what value do you use for the potentiometers? they are logaritmics?
Hi, I used A50K for volume pot and B500K for sustain.
