I don't know if the lead guy in My Girlfreind is an Alien is Chinese or not but he is definitely amazing to look at. There was another drama that I can't remember the name of that he was first lead in as well and his lead girl was even better looking this the 1st lead in this drama. Don't get me wrong I love both the lead girl and guy in this drama.

This is a good drama, I do recommend you watch this, This drama is very lighthearted nothing dramatic , no backstabbing crazy exes or one sided love. This drama talks about love, family, friends, work, relationship and balancing out your careers. Number one key to any relationship is never taking anyone for granted, showing support for each other careers, having trust and the ability to let your partner live out their dreams. All the cast members does an amazing job, leading actor and actress has great chemistry. Overall I will give this drama an 8/10.
That opening scene is such a masterful piece of work tying so well with the male lead's introduction and the camera flashes as she walks on the milky way of data/stars is sooooo magical.
This was the cutest, most adorable C-Drama I've watched so far. The storyline was fab, at times it made my heart go pitter patter, at times I felt their angst, at times I laughed so hard and mostly I really enjoyed binge watching the story unfold. For those who are considering watching this drama: the male lead works for CNSA (China National Space Administration), so the plot will focus more on the research and development of space detectors starting from the middle of the drama. "You Are My Glory" literally opens a new world for me, it's amazing! But in the very first episodes, it's only about the main leads playing a mobile game named "the Honour of Kings". Well, I guess space lovers might have to wait for some days to see the aeronautical content. Enjoy~ (Sorry for my bad English)
Just based on experience, those teenage girl dream boyfriend...they are let downs. I am speaking from experience. I was one of those boys a lot of girls from nearby school liked back in high school. (And I mean a lot, I had boys from my school telling me a certain girl like me at least once a week. I had girls blushing when they saw me and so on) We are nowhere even as good compare to what girls thought of. I went to an all boy school, therefore, those girls are all from nearby school. But in reality, I was loud, I was rude, I was really crazy and I didn't do well in school. I got an nut bag crazy controlling mother. I had trouble at home. I had problem at home, so I don't like going home and I was always tire, because I was always tire I was always cranky and moody and really crazy and my grade wasn't good, because I was always tired. I was anything but a prince charming. But, girls build up this idea in their head what I am like, most of them we probably never spoke. These situation are really just girls confusing lust to be love, and that lead them to build up a total unrealistic image about a guy, they don't know. None of the girls that actually know me well like me in that way. And you can tell it is just lust, it was so obvious, when I was 14 a lot of girls like me, then I started getting a lot of pimples, no girls even noticed I am alive, afterwards my pimple clear up by the time I was 16, a lot of girls started notice me again. It was so obviously lust and girls build up these prince charming idea about their high school crush, it is usually 110% removed from reality. I know this other guy, similar case when I was in high school, he had similar experience. There is an old saying [Don't meet your hero] that is 110% true. This is why back in school, we always used to reject the girls. Firstly, we know the girls are just confusing lust to be love, it be very stupid to get tied down, (it reminded me of this sitcom scene, the man getting divorce said when he was a high school quarterback, his wife (then girlfriend) looked at him with admiration in her eyes, 30 years later he is a bold fat middle age guy working in an office, the once admiring look in her eyes turned into radiating heat of contempt) In addition, we know we are not anywhere like the image that the girls build up in their head and once we get to know each other 9/10 times it will be a total let down. This is the two reason, those boys all the girls had a crush on back in high school, they always doesn't seem to like girls very much and prefer to just reject the girls. Also, they always expected a commitment from guys like this. It is similar to a guy ask you out on a date and he proposed on the 2nd date, it is crazy. Naturally, we are not going to play along with this BS and then girl get very upset. So, if you don't want dealing with this drama, it is best to reject the girl in the first place and don't date her. So, back then I always rejected those girls. The only other boy from my school that was in the same position, a lot of girls like, he rejected all the girls, also. Trust me, a teenage girl's high school crush is never even half as good compare to how you build it up, in your head. It is like teenage girls chasing after boy bands, it is all in your head. PS: Also, some of those girls get kind of scary, because they are a bit stalker like, when you look at it from the perspective of the other side. And you need to remember, regardless of how you build him up in your head, in reality he is a 16 years old boy. So, you know how they react under the circumstances.

(you probably get 2 or 3 guys in an entire high school and...I am not sure how many girls...20~30 I am guessing? I never really paid attention to the exact number, I just know I had girls act that way that last 2 years in high school on a weekly bases) So, you know a lot about these stories from the girl's perspective, but you don't really know anything about it from guy perspective. From the guys' perspective it is mostly a "WTF?" situation and sometimes it get a bit scary because some girls get a bit stalker like. (Make you think "I am not going to wake up one day, finding myself tied to a pentagram, right?") That is why guys like that didn't really like girls very much back in high school. (Also, when you got options you don't want to get tied down, so they get very good at rejecting girls.)

Published Author's Review: Even though I found the first 2 episodes a little slow with all the space talk this drama deserved all the hype and so much more. The chemistry between the leads was indescribable...and I'm not speaking about sexual chemistry. Their every move was in sync. The serious, the funny, the playful moments were so perfectly aligned. Reba is a top of the line actress but she did a bang up job here. This is my first time watching Yang. Aside from the fact that he's quite handsome he executed his role to perfection. His emotions when going through his personal turmoil, to his moment of regret with Reba when trying to win her back stirred my spirit. His anguish could be seen in every gesture, every facial movement. The drama depicted a real relationship. It also brought to the forefront some real life struggles couples face. There was no objecting meddling parents. No scheming woman or man trying to break the couple up. No misunderstandings. No break up. An all round great drama. A resounding 10/10 sliding its way in to my top ten and a definite watch over for me.
My first Chinese drama was love 020, it was a good movie with Yangyang and I fell in love with his acting skills. And Reba, from the king's woman and the long ballad, these movies were so good. Now I can say she is so far my fav in Cdramas. Wonderful pair here. Expecting more

Back to start this beautiful love story yet again because I can’t move on to another drama , these two are topping my list of best couples with realistic palpable chemistry in dramaland, the chemistry is insane, sometimes hot sexy and spicy and most times comfortable with the warmest feeling because of how comfortably they delivered their acting. No 30 year old acting like a silly teenager in love, no falling or tripping for swooning effect, just two non toxic adults giving us adult romance balanced with that struggles of career and work and family life.
I just can't get past this drama, 3rd time watching it! 🥰 The ML chemistry with the FL, the whole casts and the mature storyline got me hooked on this. Love 💘 it! Waiting for another drama with both Yang Yang and Reba once again. Highly recommend to watch and rewatch!!💖👍

Dilreba is so cute and sweet as Jingjing, and Yang Yang is so cool and confident as Yu Tu. They make a perfectly beautiful couple for this drama. The cinematography for this drama is really good too.

So excited to watch this drama since I saw the first trailer!!! Honestly haven’t watch any Yang Yang drama since Love O20 for being so loyal with the story and characters. I cant see him pair up with any actress after that but since I love Reba I find this new tandem refreshing. Their visuals and chemistry. 🔥🔥🔥 One thing Im sure is Im not going to be disappointed in any kissing scene here unlike in Love 020 lol. 😉
on my second watch-through, the beginning scene makes sooo much more sense - especially since you now know (a) the project they are talking about and (b) yu tu's mental space during that time makes it super enjoyable to rewatch!
I have watched 12 episodes from Tencent video (I purchased VIP). I have to say this drama is exactly same as the original novel so it definitely will be really good!! The game they played in the beginning is like a bridge to connect the couple to meet and know each other. They won’t play the game forever! This drama won’t let you down! Yang Yang is always my favorite!
I have just finished watching this drama. This drama is a superb example of the excellence that makes Chinese drama beloved around the world. So well put together and skillfully executed by all. You find yourself laughing, crying, on the edge of your seat with the suspense, then sighing with relief; and all this without any illogical and over-the-top causes for conflict. When the storylines in a drama are good, there is no need for padding and exaggeration. Yang Yang and Dilraba deliver a stellar performance, very much in keeping with the main themes of this drama - the Cosmos, and the Entertainment industry. Yang Yang wonderfully portrays Yu Tu’s quietly very capable, quietly very loving, super-intelligent, ‘still-waters-run-deep’ persona. A man mature enough to keep learning, and able to compromise or change and not allow his sense of self-worth to be damaged by these realities of life. Yu Tu’s work as an Aerospace Engineer, the drama concerning the satellite, the launch of the space rocket, and the space shots, I found most fascinating. Dilraba captures to perfection Jingjing’s character - energetic, bubbly, and sometimes somewhat giddy; but don’t underestimate her intelligence, her wisdom, her intellect and capacity to learn, and her grace under pressure. Jingjing and Yu Tu are therefore able to support and encourage one another as they face the challenges of life that come their way. A most enjoyable drama with excellent performances by all the performing artists. The gaming storyline and scenes were exciting and fun. Lots of humour and witty banter in this drama. Beautiful backgrounds and settings. Lovely music with some of the most beautiful and heartfelt lyrics I have ever come across. Is it possible to purchase the music and a printout of the lyrics from this drama? Congratulations and many thanks to the performing artists, the production team, and everyone else involved in this drama. Enough said. Just watch the drama and enjoy!

Fantastic drama well worth the watch the storyline was so beautiful, no screaming or adultery, or troublesome ex's, their love story was amazing from start to finish. Both lead actors played their parts beautifully.
A while back, I kept watching a few clips before I watch the series, because from the clips, I can decide whether the whole drama is worth watching. On this drama, I didn't have to. The CHEMISTRY between Reba and Yang Yang from the get go is AMAZING. You will never be disappointed especially because their careers are at opposite ends of the spectrum, yet they made it work so successfully, one can only hope that life and relationships can be just that...simple, uncomplicated and most of all, lovely. Enjoy every episode, as I did and re-watch, as I do.

@@worldobserver5867 Just sharing an experience. Because, with stories like this...there are usually a lot of girls, but only few guys. (you probably get 2 or 3 guys in an entire high school and...I am not sure how many girls...20~30 I am guessing? I never really paid attention to the exact number, I just know I had girls act that way that last 2 years in high school on a weekly bases) So, you know a lot about these stories from the girl's perspective, but you don't really know anything about it from guy perspective. From the guys' perspective it is mostly a "WTF?" situation and sometimes it get a bit scary because some girls get a bit stalker like. (Make you think "I am not going to wake up one day, finding myself tied to a pentagram, right?") That is why guys like that didn't really like girls very much back in high school. (Also, when you got options you don't want to get tied down, so they get very good at rejecting girls.)

Published Author's Review: Even though I found the first 2 episodes a little slow with all the space talk this drama deserved all the hype and so much more. The chemistry between the leads was indescribable...and I'm not speaking about sexual chemistry. Their every move was in sync. The serious, the funny, the playful moments were so perfectly aligned. Reba is a top of the line actress but she did a bang up job here. This is my first time watching Yang. Aside from the fact that he's quite handsome he executed his role to perfection. His emotions when going through his personal turmoil, to his moment of regret with Reba when trying to win her back stirred my spirit. His anguish could be seen in every gesture, every facial movement. The drama depicted a real relationship. It also brought to the forefront some real life struggles couples face. There was no objecting meddling parents. No scheming woman or man trying to break the couple up. No misunderstandings. No break up. An all round great drama. A resounding 10/10 sliding its way in to my top ten and a definite watch over for me.

My first Chinese drama was love 020, it was a good movie with Yangyang and I fell in love with his acting skills. And Reba, from the king's woman and the long ballad, these movies were so good. Now I can say she is so far my fav in Cdramas. Wonderful pair here. Expecting more

Back to start this beautiful love story yet again because I can’t move on to another drama , these two are topping my list of best couples with realistic palpable chemistry in dramaland, the chemistry is insane, sometimes hot sexy and spicy and most times comfortable with the warmest feeling because of how comfortably they delivered their acting. No 30 year old acting like a silly teenager in love, no falling or tripping for swooning effect, just two non toxic adults giving us adult romance balanced with that struggles of career and work and family life.

Their team was onto something when they chose Yang Yang and Diraba for this drama with a plot and story like this. They complement and fit each other so well it's an absolute chef's kiss. A masterpiece, Indeed.
Dilreba is so cute and sweet as Jingjing, and Yang Yang is so cool and confident as Yu Tu. They make a perfectly beautiful couple for this drama. The cinematography for this drama is really good too.

I have watched 12 episodes from Tencent video (I purchased VIP). I have to say this drama is exactly same as the original novel so it definitely will be really good!! The game they played in the beginning is like a bridge to connect the couple to meet and know each other. They won’t play the game forever! This drama won’t let you down! Yang Yang is always my favorite!

I have just finished watching this drama. This drama is a superb example of the excellence that makes Chinese drama beloved around the world. So well put together and skillfully executed by all. You find yourself laughing, crying, on the edge of your seat with the suspense, then sighing with relief; and all this without any illogical and over-the-top causes for conflict. When the storylines in a drama are good, there is no need for padding and exaggeration. Yang Yang and Dilraba deliver a stellar performance, very much in keeping with the main themes of this drama - the Cosmos, and the Entertainment industry. Yang Yang wonderfully portrays Yu Tu’s quietly very capable, quietly very loving, super-intelligent, ‘still-waters-run-deep’ persona. A man mature enough to keep learning, and able to compromise or change and not allow his sense of self-worth to be damaged by these realities of life. Yu Tu’s work as an Aerospace Engineer, the drama concerning the satellite, the launch of the space rocket, and the space shots, I found most fascinating. Dilraba captures to perfection Jingjing’s character - energetic, bubbly, and sometimes somewhat giddy; but don’t underestimate her intelligence, her wisdom, her intellect and capacity to learn, and her grace under pressure. Jingjing and Yu Tu are therefore able to support and encourage one another as they face the challenges of life that come their way. A most enjoyable drama with excellent performances by all the performing artists. The gaming storyline and scenes were exciting and fun. Lots of humour and witty banter in this drama. Beautiful backgrounds and settings. Lovely music with some of the most beautiful and heartfelt lyrics I have ever come across. Is it possible to purchase the music and a printout of the lyrics from this drama? Fantastic drama well worth the watch the storyline was so beautiful, no screaming or adultery, or troublesome ex's, their love story was amazing from start to finish. Both lead actors played their parts beautifully.
A while back, I kept watching a few clips before I watch the series, because from the clips, I can decide whether the whole drama is worth watching. On this drama, I didn't have to. The CHEMISTRY between Reba and Yang Yang from the get go is AMAZING. You will never be disappointed especially because their careers are at opposite ends of the spectrum, yet they made it work so successfully, one can only hope that life and relationships can be just that...simple, uncomplicated and most of all, lovely. Enjoy every episode, as I did and re-watch, as I do.
