It's automatically better if for no other reason than the fact that the lyrics are finally more than just "Everybody Jump Jump DDR". This should've happened YEARS ago.
I think all the older players'll miss the JUMP JUMP JUMP DDR!(including me), but this sounds like an ACTUAL song- as far as lyrics go this is better than the original.
I'll admit, I used to despise this version, but it's really grown on me. I actually favor it more than the original (which I never really liked all that much anyway. The Orchestra-Groove remix is the shit though). Still, I wish they had slapped a remix name on it like, "(Vocal Remix)" or, going by the lyrics, "(Sweet Victory Mix)". It's good. Great even, but it really shouldn't downright replace the original, which is one of DDR's legendary theme tunes.
Dynamite Grizzly same here, I used to think something was off about the vocals being placed over a song from 1999, but now, I think they really fit. But yeah, they couldn't call it "Brilliant 2U '08" at the very least?
@@millertime97jm I can likely see it being called either as Brilliant 2U (New Vocal Version) or just simply Brilliant 2U if this gets brought back into DDR A3 (current arcade DDR game) in the future. If they brought back B4U(the Acolyte mix), 1998 (Sparky mix), True Love (Clubstar's True Club Mix), and recently Candy (UFO Mix), so can this song, CELEBRATE NIGHT (or Celebrate Night 2008), Keep on movin 2008, and FREE
It's like they put some of the K.O.G. G3 mix in with like a Y&Co. super euro version with a pinch of the Orchestra Groove mix. I like the older version (it being my favorite DDR song ever) better. But I will admit I see the appeal. Sounds like the music you would hear on US radio (not exactly sure that that is a compliment, but I digress)...
@AlvaroQuintanilla @AlvaroQuintanilla It's not actually. :/ UA-cam won't let me link anything in comments, but I believe the original Brilliant 2 U was created in the early years when DDR was released, can't name the first mix it was on right now. This one here is remake or more enhanced version which was released for Dance Masters.
What is up with all these remakes of the classics? XD Well.. I don't like this one so much... But I don't like the original either.. >>' I like the Orchestra Groove Mix. :'D
I'm against all this bs lyric change in the old school DDR songs.... If they wanted to add in separate song's (i.e., Brilliant 2U -Vocal re edit- along side with the original Billiant 2U) I'd be fine with that, but replacing the original song? That completely ruins DDR for the true old school players.
BRILLIANT 2U = DDR 2ndMix
Brilliant 2U (2008 Ver.) = DDR Full Full Party
Brilliant 2U はこれが一番好き!
I would have called it Brilliant 2U (Vocal Groove) or something
あのBrilliant2Uにボーカルが付くとはあの頃は想像だにしなかったなぁ。
Brilliant2U with lyrics give out more energy, indeed.
Actually pretty good. They should have given this a mix title, not just called it Brilliant2U, though.
This song is awesome for Dave in Dance Evolution including the background that he's in

I'm kinda liking all the old school remixes that they are coming out with. its actually really good.
This is more like a Brilliant2U Vocal Mix, but i gotta say, it's pretty good :D
I love the chart to this song, it's so in tune XD
this is my favorite song actually
I think all the older players'll miss the JUMP JUMP JUMP DDR!(including me), but this sounds like an ACTUAL song- as far as lyrics go this is better than the original.
Really? I found it creepy!
LOVE THIS SONG!!

Vuvuzela option for the win!
this is my favorite song in the game

On DDR Hottest Party 3 - Wii
WHO WANTS TO KNOW THE LYRICS???
I have this on DDR Hottest Party 3, and the step chart is easier than the original.
Nice one
Oh God this brings back memories of the new millenium LOL
lawls @ autotune at the end
@ddrlear They do that because it was a story of licence
this is amazing on Dance Masters Evolution, Kinect.
@HPlookalike94 really? I think it's kinda funny.
Well, it does look creepy if a boy is the main dancer or backupdancer.
@dreotingle lmao yea seriously it's horrible and yet hilarious
does the music video keep it's Zoid-like and Gundam/Power Rangers-like images?
The dance my mii does to this song is horrendous, i'm almost ashamed lol
@MistaDeoxys There aren't even lyrics on it!
@KitsuneFox85 Autotune is better?????
I prefer this version.
Orchestra-Groove is okay.
Max Gamer San here bro.
@@brandonfarrar3475 Never mind, the K.O.G version is the best.
@@DarkCartoon_music i like the k.o.g version
The normal i like it
this is better but the vocals are still bit cheesy

Auto-tune did more bad than good to this song :(
