Thank you! Albright Knot perfect for fixing my wind chimes. If I'm careful positioning the end of the loop, I can keep the length consistent for all of the pipes.
Really should be an FG knot for braid to mono or flouro. It's not so simple to tie, but it's kinda the king of connections involving braid. Great video showing these knots though very clear and easy to follow.
I've never heard of or seen the "Yukatan Knot" before, and I thought I've seen them all! I use the "Albright" all the time to connect 20 Fluorocarbon to Power Pro, but I guess I tie it in a "reverse" order as in, I wrap the opposite direction that you do. Awesome video!

Anything bigger, and every piece of weed gets caught on it when I am tossing baits. I used to use the "Blood Knot" all the time until I found the Albright. Trying to connect 20lb mono or Fluorocarbon to any 20lb Power Pro (20lb Power Pro is the same diameter of 6lb mono) is near impossible as the Power Pro would cut right thru the Floro and the Albright always works.

I agree, I was using Uni to Uni knot. Was about to switch to blood knot due to I think smaller profile and tags directions. I feel the Uni blood knot will add strength to knot and have tag ends in a good direction to not have as much friction when casting ect.. Perfect combo by the the looks of it. Will give it a go this year.

Hello everyone. I’m here to inform you that (Not to hate on this video, amazingly made), a study showing the strengths of knots using true science, the most strongest knot is, the GT Knot. Not the FG, Not the blood, not even the double uni which I always tied on 😔. Use this knot in my recommendation it’s very easy and very very strong. And for those curious the double uni came out to be 41% strong and FG knot as 84%. You are welcome fishing friends.

Guys, if I have too short braid line on my spool and want to expand my spool with same size of braid line (braid to braid) but it has to go smoothly (as small and smooth knot as possible) so it can go through the rod's guides, which knot is the best? The knot has to take very little space on the spool so the lineup of the spool will not be affected. Which knot do you recommend me then??? Im planning to join 0.20 braid lines together on that reeling spool.
Out of those knots, is one of them better than the others to join two lines together or are they all equally as Strong? Great video by the way.. Thanks!

Yucatan and Albright are the same knot just two different ways of tying them

I do a six wrap surgeons knot, where you pass the whole leader length through the loop six times, it's so easy to tie and pretty strong too

If your in need of fishing knots I recommend uni knot for almost everything, and braid to mono use the FG knot with rizotto finish :)

I love the way all the video’s use very big thick lines! I use 4 or 6 # clean monofilament or fluorocarbon and really have a hard time seeing the line
