I’d be curious to know his views on technique, the singers he looks up to, past and present teachers etc.

Wouldn't be better for the Opera Houses to do audition instead of relying entirely on Agencies?Perhaps the singers will have less controversial careers and each will have the fair share of accountability...P.S Bravo Muhele!

As a young tenor myself I have a personal question...How to make a big voice like my...spinto lirico...how to thin out the voice in passagio part to excess notes above G easier...Exercises if he can show, share...And if he thinks a young voice( am 21) should sing harder, dramatic thing or stic to leggero repertory at beginning even if I am a big dramatic voice...to save I guess the voice for future... Advise...Thank you...

How does he go about projecting the voice specifically above the passaggio? Is the projection automatic with his technique? How does he experience his technique/singing (what does he feel/sense as he sings a line)? Thank you.

Верхняя нота была низковата, ее прикрыли, но в целом неплохо

Can he describe his technique and what methods he used to develop it? What are the best tips for breath training? How does he warm up?

Question: How can we make opera popular with young audiences?

I guess, cann he tell about the situation with more old school, bigger singing in today's opera houses - is the rumor true that big voices have a difficult time, that this type of singing is "not wanted" anymore?

    I have some:
What role he would never take and why?
If he could ask a composer to write an opera for him, what subjetc, theme or book would it be?

No question but feedback: it was a pleasure to meet and work with him for two lessons and listen to him several times in Germany. Very nice and patient person, standing with two feet on the ground. Very old-school oriented. Would look forward to work with him again. Last time has been during covid. Will definetely follow your interview. @Afropoli: I would be actually curious to meet and hear you too someday. 😜

Du bist in der Opernwelt für meine Ohren: the Best of the Rest 🥰
Ganz liebe Grüße aus Mannheim 💃

Also, no question from me. Only tell him, He has made Opera worth going to again for lovers of the Opera. From the first time I heard him in Simon Boccanegra in Mannheim 10 years ago, it was like hearing one of the great tenors of the past.

As a college student, I am curious about his habits in his early 20s. Where did he feel in his technique? When did he think he understood his voice, when did he actually, and when did his voice teachers and mentors understand his voice? How much work would he put into a piece of music, opera, or warmups?

How do singers build a lasting career? It seems like it has very little to do with purely great singing.

How can we raise the standards of singing in the future when singers, conductors competitions and teachers of today work in the opposite direction so very often?
(Direction towards small or even faulty singing meaning woofy unclear voices, thin white-ish timbre, no chestvoice, wobble and wrong fach)

I would very much like to know who you are. I love your videos, they are interesting and important and by the way we have got the same opinion about opera and opera singing. Your voice is important. I’m looking forward to other videos of you. Very best wishes from Duesseldorf/Germany
