One quick tip, in the backup settings, make sure to clear the "excluded folders" section and allow it to back up all folders. This way, when you make a backup, it will also back up most of your settings and plugin licenses that you currently have on your site. By default, there are several folders excluded from being backed up, and the backup you get with the default settings will not include your plugin licenses etc.
Mate! Oh my God... I can't explain how timely this video came. I am migrating my hosting to hostinger (thanks for the discount code btw) and this was exactly what I needed! Legend!
Am I right in thinking that BEFORE I migrate my WP site developed on my offline PC, to a production server, I MUST ALREADY have an 'earlier' version of the site on the Production server (including the directories and MySQL database set up)? I have set up a test WP site on a WAMP server sitting on my PC and I want to copy that site to a fresh and clean online production server, that doesn't yet have a copy of my site on. With the instructions you have presented, good though they are (and very easy to follow), it seems that even with 'keys' and automigration, you are implying that there already is a version of your WP site already sitting on the online production server, and the plugin simply overwrites the database and files aready there. Thanks
Your video is great, but the plugin got stuck every time in 40% transferred, 60% transferred. It is a small website (less than 1G). I was never able to finish the transfer after pasting the key and clicking on Clone and Transfer.

can you elaborate?

Hey Alex can you do a video about setting up load balancers in Vultr?
sounds interesting - what kind of site/app do you want to apply that to?
Can you make a benchmark performance on the new WPX Woocommerce hosting vs Cloudways Vultr HF? :D
I can put it onto my list, I think WPX did write to me once, cant remember if I replied 😅
Just right on time
Thanks
thanks for watching :)
When migrating, how does it affect premium plugins? Do those get copied over as activated?
If I finish migration, can I uninstall the plugin without that impacting the 'new' website or would uninstalling undo things?

Would this work with Multisite?
The pro version supports multisite.
It's NOT free
I was using the free version the whole time - what do you mean?
