I'll never forget that night. My dad and I were switching between the final seconds of the Vikings game and this game, and we both went nuts when Poole caught that TD pass. And that Vikings team had started so hot, like 6-0 or something like that to start the season, and the Packers had lost to the Cardinals earlier that year, so it was pretty sweet to watch the Vikings fall apart as they did.
this was Plummer's first year with the Broncos (and he was injured for a large part of the season, hence why we were starting a third string QB in this game)
Anytime a Packers game appears in my recommendations, or I happen to find it(???? Odd considering I love the Packers and I love 🏈🏈NFL🏈Games🏈🏈.), especially Packers games from the 90's. The Brett Favre era! The Packers return to GLORY!! However I also really love and enjoy NFL games from the 70's. Monday Night Football was at it's peak during the 70's! The NFL Today was the best Pre-game and Post-Game shows ever. These videos are extra special for me since I, as I mentioned, I grew up watching these games back then. They all bring back memories of all kinds. Thank you for sharing these.
Good quality. I remember we stopped through the mcdonalds drive thru after visiting my baby cousin in the hospital and got home right as the game started. I got the 4 pc chicken select value meal, for anyone who was wondering.
As a Broncos fan, this was another long day in GB. We didn't need the win, so we sat our starters, and got our asses kicked. Same thing happened in 1996. The GB fans who didn't know better must've thought we really sucked. Fortunately we'll always have SB XXXII. ha. I'll take that trade. :)
Been searching for this for years. Thank you!
I’ve seen the Minnesota side of things from that day but I’ve been trying to find the Green Bay side for years now. Thank you so much.

that run by Green never gets old
"Ahman Green and Nick Luchey in the backfield, and this is Green. Look at Green! All by himself! 20, 10, TOUCHDOWN!"
no one could ever catch Ahman from behind, once he got past the linebackers he was gone every single time
35:17 You came here for this
Thanks for all the great football, wrestling, baseball and hockey, Larry! Here's to a great 2024! Happy New Year!
Greg Gumbel was so underrated doing play by play.

That and the Broncos already had one of the Wild Card spots locked in, so there wasn't really any reason to have Jake Plummer play all contest.
