Nice set. Maybe im wrong here but you seem to be needlessly starting and stopping alot. Like you beatmatch the song, fix eq to bring it in then cut the song again, then start the song again towards the end?
Yes, you're absolutely right. In fact, I don't use loops to introduce my tracks, but I do use hot cues, but that's exactly the same thing! House music is quite long and repetitive, which is why you can make transitions quite long and smooth.
you go to Preferences > View > Layout > at the bottom of the page you have a "PAD Mode" Section : select Cutsomize and choose LIST Display (instead of Pad Display). Enjoy ;)
With hot cues you can make rhythms, whereas with loops you can't, so sometimes I prefer to use hot cues, but sometimes I prefer using loops, it depends on the situation 🙃
