Beginner Tutorial - Oil Painting

Today we painted Waterfalls on 24x36" Black canvas with 6 Colors using Thick Oil Paints with Liquid Clear. Colors will be listed below. I look forward to seeing your painting! Send in pics via Facebook Messenger to / paintwithjosh
Colors : Bright Red, Dark Sienna, Phthalo Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Midnight Black, & Titanium White
Tools : 1" & 2" Brushes, 2 Fan Brushes (Size : Whatever works best for you), Palette Knife, Script Liner Brush
Canvas Prep : I took a 24x36" black Canvas from Michael's out of the package and covered the bottom section in liquitex Black Gesso and let it dry. When it came to paint this scene, i covered the top in liquid white and the black section in liquid clear
