    This time I did an experiment by skipping Listening, Reading and Writing in the PTE mock test to see what happens when I perfectly complete Speaking. The result was quite surprising and also provided us with some useful insights into the marking system. Another video bonus is the recording of me doing Speaking in Mock B.

    Moni, I have been looking for good strategies for speaking. I did mock test A and got 40. Then I imitated you on how you speak: your speed, your rhythm, your timing on when to tune up your pitch and when to tune down. I got 90 on speaking in mock test B. And I observed how possible it is to get 90 eventhough you have mistakes at some sections. As for me, in the real exam, I got a lot of mistakes on repeat sentece and retell lecture, but I remembered how you just kept on speaking and maintained the flow of your words. Guess what, I got 90 in speaking in the real exam! Thank you, you are such a great help. More power to your channel Moni! :)

      Definitely you have to take notes. Try to catch 2/3 words from each sentence. And then attempt to say 5/6 sentences. Follow a structure, the lecturer was talking about, then he mentioned, ..... finally he said.
      If you don't understand anything what the speaker said, at least try to get the topic right. Then say something related with the topic, don't keep quiet and lose your fluency because you didn't get the topic.

    I have a question about the speaking speed, I know speed isn't the most important in the "fluency", but it does affect it a lot, in your video, your speed roughly 3 words/sec, I'd like to know, how slow of the speaking will affect the speaking score? my current speed is about 2.6 words/sec, I'd like to know if I need to try to speed up if I'm aiming for 79 in speaking.

    Am wondering why and how all bloggers get 90 in both oral fluency and pronunciation, though everyone has missed or done some mistakes in between if we watch carefully. Anyone has something to say even @moni

      Try to paraphrase in summarize written text and don't use one word again and again in writing essay, for spelling don't use backspace or delete keypad, try to avoid it, if you write wrong spelling accidentally try to click on word and correct it, it will definitely enhance your score.

    • @MoniPTEMAGIC
      @MoniPTEMAGIC  6 років тому +1

      I got marks for those because you get Vocabulary points during Speaking (Retell lecture/Answer Short Questions) and also the minimum score for Spelling is 19-22

    • @MoniPTEMAGIC
      @MoniPTEMAGIC  6 років тому +2

      @jack su the rumours about backspace/delete is wrong so don't believe it, I have used it numerous times and my spelling is still 90, instead make sure you use American/British spelling more consistently

      @islamessam3569 4 роки тому

      In Pearson practice mock test you'll find 3 exams A&B and C, the difficulty almost the same for all exams but if you compare it with the real exams, real exams are a little bit easier, for example, if you got 70 overall in mock test it means you got between 74 or 75 in the real exam.
