Like 'Angel or Devil, 'Eternally', or just their range of concepts with elements of magic, whimsy, angst and darkness sewn into the storytelling.
I think Yeonjun has this crazy/insane look. Like he absolutely has lost his mind, and everyone is aware of it. Meanwhile Beomgyu's has this hidden craziness. Like he can easily go of as this nice pretty boy, but underneath there's this craziness, that comes out, and even when we see it, we still come back for more. I feel like that's where the cheekiness comes from.
Actually, that's Beomgyu's real personality. His TXT members first impression was of a nice quiet guy but later learned he's the most chaotic and craziest of the bunch. 😂

I felt the same way at first (9/10), but it is SO ADDICTIVE. If you watch the concept trailer and realize that it is a Peter Pan concept, the music video and lyrics will make even more sense vs the eden idea that some people have. Like the lyrics mentioning him opening the locked door so easily or the feast in the sky - big part of Peter Pan's story. Made me look at the whole story of Peter Pan so differently than the disney version 😅 Everything was shot so well and I think they combined the funky pop sound and sexier sound very well. Nothing sounded forced and the sexiness wasn't shoved at us. It was done in a TXT way and suits them well. Also LOVE the album 💙💛💚

Theyve done falsettos since debut like "Our Summer" so its so great to hear more of it even after theyve done a raspy and grungy pop rock style of singing in 0X1=LOVESONG

When the teaser was dropped, we suspected that TNC Temptation is all about reversing (based on the theories since the concept trailer). The anti-drop in the chorus hits hard like the build up into it is like hyping you up and then you're prepared for it going up even more then suddenly goes down in a way that will make you feel even stronger. It's so addicting and always playing in my mind xD Also, the MV was shoot in Bali, Indonesia :) I'll hope you review the full album because I love all the songs in it :)
I also like to add that they mentioned in the presscon that they used some parts of "Chunhyangga" in SRR lyrics which is the most famous pansori (musical story telling) in Korea, and they also featured the movements of Korean traditional dance in their choreo. This MV reminds me so much of the Greek myth of the Lotus-eaters. In the myth, Odysseus and his men were shipwrecked on an island where people ate lotus flowers, which caused them to forget their home and loved ones, and only long to stay with their lotus-eaters, making them sleepy, blissful, and apathetic. The bighit intro put at the end is intentional!! The whole concept of this album is related to Peter Pan's story, hence the setting being the beautiful nature that's supposed to mimick "Neverland". To put it simply, TXT wanted to express the feeling of wanting to stay in their youth/childhood, having a fear of growing up and "leaving Neverland" so in a way this whole concept is them wanting to go back and "reverse time", which explains why bighit put the logo intro at the end of the video!! They did this for all of their trailers and videos for this cb and i love how bighit stuck to that concept👏👏 they described this cb as resfreshing sexy and it matches so well...keeping in mind that this is a Peter Pan concept just makes so much more sense. I love how it makes you think that it's gonna be sweet, kind, colorful mv and song, but then "the devil said" comes in and it's just a different dark, maybe even sexy song and it even sounds like some kind of temptation. And after the chorus it brings sweet vibes back like nothing happened. I'm so in love with this song.
Sugar Rush Ride grew on me a lot too, I'll be honest, I was shocked by the chorus and didn't really like it at my first listen. But then the second time, and the third time, and the fourth time... I just got it and it got _me_ hook on it like there was crack inside. I'm in love with this whole album, all the songs have that purpose. I honestly think that it's iconic and perfect. They took bold decisions that paid off.
I think I really like the song on first listen (how can I not? It's TXT! They don't have a bad song). In fact, I'd say this is my favourite title track from TXT next to Loser=Lover. The "sugar rush rush, sugar rush rushar" part threw me off a bit and I had a feeling some people would hate that part because it's similiar to "good boy gone bad" chorus (I was right as I found out later), but the more I listen to the song, the more I addicted I am.

But I love that the transition makes sense and ties the to albums together. Also, in GBGB I at first listen I was iffy about the chorus but the "Good Boy gone bad" part sold me immediately, it want so hard 🔥🔥🔥 So that's funny. Beomgyu bias since Day 1 and Im so happy to see him improve his facial expressions and I just fall for him again and again every cb. Its insane. I think this is definitely his era tbh, but maybe Im just biased. He deserves all the love and support, and so does the other members ❤️
I think on first watch, what really got me was the visuals and the switch. With a name like "Sugar Rush Ride", I agree with you cuz I was expecting something extremely bright and pop and sweet. I wasn't prepared for the chorus at all. After a couple of listens, definitely solidified as a top pick though 0x1=lovesong still has me in a chokehold 😅.

The bighit intro put at the end is intentional!! The whole concept of this album is related to Peter Pan's story, hence the setting being the beautiful nature that's supposed to mimick "Neverland". To put it simply, TXT wanted to express the feeling of wanting to stay in their youth/childhood, having a fear of growing up and "leaving Neverland" so in a way this whole concept is them wanting to go back and "reverse time", which explains why bighit put the logo intro at the end of the video!! They did this for all of their trailers and videos for this cb and i love how bighit stuck to that concept👏👏 they described this cb as resfreshing sexy and it matches so well...keeping in mind that this is a Peter Pan concept just makes so much more sense. They filmed the forest and beach scenes in Bali btw!! Sorry for this really long comment but anyways loved the reaction PD!!👍❤️
I love how it makes you think that it's gonna be sweet, kind, colorful mv and song, but then "the devil said" comes in and it's just a different dark, maybe even sexy song and it even sounds like some kind of temptation. And after the chorus it brings sweet vibes back like nothing happened. I'm so in love with this song.

Sugar Rush Ride grew on me a lot too, I'll be honest, I was shocked by the chorus and didn't really like it at my first listen. But then the second time, and the third time, and the fourth time... I just got it and it got _me_ hook on it like there was crack inside. I'm in love with this whole album, all the songs have that purpose. I honestly think that it's iconic and perfect. They took bold decisions that paid off.
I think I really like the song on first listen (how can I not? It's TXT! They don't have a bad song). In fact, I'd say this is my favourite title track from TXT next to Loser=Lover. The "sugar rush rush, sugar rush rushar" part threw me off a bit and I had a feeling some people would hate that part because it's similiar to "good boy gone bad" chorus (I was right as I found out later), but the more I listen to the song, the more I addicted I am.
@@cloddiehoppers Yeah, about the "Sugar Rush Hush" part I personally love it but I had the same thought, that it was like in GBGB and some people may dislike that the two concepts still shared similarities - cause everyone wanted them to do something completely different. But I love that the transition makes sense and ties the to albums together. Also, in GBGB I at first listen I was iffy about the chorus but the "Good Boy gone bad" part sold me immediately, it want so hard 🔥🔥🔥 So that's funny. That the part that made me sure I adored GBGB felt for some people out of place in SRR.

Everything from the pre chorus to the end of post chorus is what makes the song incredible..... An anti drop done soo well where it matches their current direction, ties up their previous eras nd styles nd even gives something more to us.....
