after waking up from a coma and moving to Idaho I have discovered, post a few years of recovery from wheelchair to walking again, that living off grid is all for me. thank you for providing methods and attitudes needed to move forward. Thank you I am gracious of the wisdom and love you two have provided for not only me, but for all!! AMEN
You two kids (kids? I'm 80, done a lot of DIY and car maintenance, so yes, compared to me, kids) truly deserve everything you have worked for. I have thoroughly enjoyed all your videos and the way you tackle tasks and face up to problems. I wish you all the best of everything.
As a couple, your honesty is tremendous and a breath of fresh air. To build so much with no real experience is truly amazing. Well done and keep going with the Barndominium.
I agree. Keep going guys, keep making content that you enjoy do take some breaks. Glad to see all your hard work and risk taking is paying off. I'll just keep going on my daily 9-5 grind 🤭. Travel safe
The story behind the story is amazing. It is so great to see 2 young people (cannot believe I just turned into my parents) chasing their dreams and doing so well. Never be afraid of failure, that's what teaches you new skill and directions.
Great video. You earned my respect on your journey of taking risks, jumping in and worrying about the money as you go. Pretty much how I've lived my life as well. I now have three properties in two states, a Woodmizer sawmill, a Case W20B Frontend loader with a backhoe mounted on the back, a 1963 Willy's pickup truck I'm building into a plow truck and a CanAm Commander X I did some mods on. I'm currently living in a 36 X 48 shop at 4,000' on the US/CA border in North Central WA (not far from where you are at). Next month I'm getting a new Adventure motorcycle (Triumph 900 Tiger RP) and starting to plan a trip to Argentina/Chile. Best of luck in your future.
You are both so likable, it’s undoubtedly been a factor in your success on UA-cam. Glad your struggles have paid off and wish you both more and more success as you venture through life.
"struggles" Really? Ever traveled? I can show you struggle. These two merely keep busy. They haven't struggled a day in their lives and neither have you if you can even say that w a straight face.
@@JohnIsSailingForAsia traveling is your greatest struggle? Wow. Life must be tough for you. I suppose those long waits in airports or the difficulties in finding a slip in the marinas, or the bouncing from riding a camel through the desert. You think that’s more of a struggle than changing a ring gear in a D-8 dozer? You would have been one of the many dropouts in my profession man. Only one in ten applicants secured a place working on the Columbia River operations at the Camas Washington paper mill. The Columbia River gorge is the wind surfing capital of the world. The east wind comes off the flat plains of eastern Washington and Oregon through a region with mountains on both sides of the river and 50-60 mph winds are not unusual. The Camas mill is located at the western mouth of the gorge. River Operations had personnel worked on log rafts and on tugboats. Only one in ten stayed more than three months. Try walking logs in a 60 mph wind or working on barges that weighed 2600 tons and were basically sailed in the strong east winds. Ya, traveling is real tough. You’d never make it at a real job.
If you listen to your story the most money you made with the least amount of work was renting. (excluding the chairs) So stop selling container houses rent them out. Stop flipping (if you can keep capital and get a loc) and rent them out. Get good tenants long term less active investment 7 profit centers
With you there....all we need its your inspiration. You owe us nothing. Just do what you need you do and do what you want to do. How or why its no matter....but if we can help just ask
I totally agree it's nobody's business how you've created this life and your UA-cam channel I enjoyed very much keep up the good work and your endeavors!
That was so freakin great. I’ll be 75 in a week or so and I love you guys. You are so cute and so good together. Nothing ordinary about either of you, you’ve lived more in a few years than most of us in a lifetime. Keep it up, so look forward to seeing what’s coming for you guys.
I just found you a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been auditing so much of what you’re doing. And now I found this video and it’s just delightful because this video is from three years ago and to see where you have come today …you two are just power houses and you found each other and you’re the luckiest people in the world. I adore your work ethic and your kindness. And your brains! Thank you for sharing.
WOW. First, thank you two for taking the time to do this video. It's very brave to put yourself out there like that and I know I greatly appreciated hearing your story! What's crazy is that I didn't realize I had seen you two in the past (First Time Flippers) until you brought it up in this video. I definitely remember watching your episode! You two are clearly very motivated and entrepreneurial, and are a perfect match for each other. Maybe it's just the way you've presented yourselves in your videos, but it really seems like you two are just genuinely good people. I think that's what first got my attention and has since kept me engaged. I can't wait to see where this channel goes in the years ahead!
Making this video was so much harder than our normal videos. And we honestly didn’t know if anyone would care. Thank you so much for coming on this journey with us. ☺️
@@AmbitionStrikes You mentioned the "tribe", and I think you two have amassed a lot of people that really enjoy following you and getting to know you. That's why I think this video will be so well received. Thank you again for making this!
@@BoomerKeith1 Well said Sooner Keith. I am sitting here watching on my laptop in my isolation room, and my brain actually feels like Riley and Courtney are in here talking to me. They must be amazing in person.
When it comes to flipping homes the way you guys were doing it (which is how my parents and I do it as well) is that you buy the place and then QUICKLY get it gutted and remodeled to the point originally planned, then stick it on the market. In the event the market isn't strong enough to sell for the kind of profit that we originally wanted, then we switch our plan and instead we rent it out. We do a 12 month lease and then after the 12 months if the market has improved then we go month-month and put the house back on the market. If it needs more time then we will sign another 12 months or get a new set of tenants for 12 months. The whole idea is that we rent the house out for enough to cover all of the bills, and on the last house our monthly bills were 1500$ and we rented the house out for 2700 a month, so we made money every month on the house. It's not for everyone but it's a great way to make an extra 30-60k a year by doing one flip a year.
I appreciate this video. My wife and I are giving it our all to build a farm and business from scratch. We are also just faking it till me make it, and it's inspiring to see that you two have gotten to where you are from hardwork. I hope life brings you everything you want.
I'm so impressed with you guys! Just found your channel a couple of days ago but I have to say that you two are an amazing combination of characters. Your willingness to support each other and make things happen, to take risks but also shoot to become debt free, to be careful yet daring, etc. Just an impressive pair of inspiring attitudes. I'm in!
So having been in challenging businesses myself, this may sounds weird , but I'm glad you mentioned you had lost friends thru some of those crazy stressful times , because I have too. I know what that feels like. It makes me realize that it's not just me. And how could anyone not be supportive and understanding of you guys? you guys are one of the most lovable couples on the planet. I'm so happy for your success! I'm not completely there yet, but you guys are inspiring me to get there! -work hard, to overcome obstacles, and have fun thru it all. Thanks for being open, and being who you guys are. It inspires me to be more like you.
Hey you two, thanks for the synopsis of your journey. I am happy to be a member of the tribe and enjoy each video you produce. New venture, Burro Rescue Farm!!!!
Oh, yeah. Forgot about not seeing the wild burros. That's it, once the road is improved part way up, the "Not So Wild Burro Rescue Petting Corral." Along with Bailey and Boone's acrobatic acts. ;-)
Stumbled onto your channel a week ago, it's infectious. Went back and found this title because I was curious as to your ability to do what your'e doing. Your phrase "fake it till you make it" has been the basis of my life. From raising my two sons, to every job I've ever done, I've faked it, until I made it. Even with the set backs, and failures, it still builds confidence that one way or another you will make it. I turn 75 tomorrow, am retired living in Thailand, and am enjoying every single day! And yes, I'm still faking it.😉
I appreciate you sharing your leap of faith. There are days when I question how many hours I am putting in my business. In 2020 I lost money for the first time - gov declared us non-essential. Last year I only took $342 out of the business; paying my personal bills with side jobs. I wanted to get us out of the hole. Your success and stumbles are inspiring. Thank you.
I am 68. My wife and I built our house. My construction experience was...I built a doghouse when I was 12. We had no money. But we both wanted kids. I wanted a safe place to live but again no money. I found land that no one wanted but I could afford. Learn as you go. I had friends that were in the same boat. We all built at the same time. We exchanged labor for labor. We held full time jobs and supplement part time jobs and built the house. Family and friends, couldn't have done it otherwise. Two great kids, college grads, top of their class. Million dollar home, 180 into it. Worked at a hardware store and retired. Stressful, painful, constantly broke. But checked all the boxes. Thanks for sharing your story.
Love the fact that you both are so open and honest with each other as well as with your viewers ( it’s none of our business frankly ! ) but you both are living proof that hard work, determination and bravery will pay off in the end. Good luck from a Brit living in France who emigrated with his girlfriend, a car and a cat and that’s it....now married, two kids and happily settled 👍)
I recently started watching you two. First, It's great to see a couple of Mustangs (Cal Poly) "learn by doing" & being successful at it. Similarities for us are the working hard, saving money by living extremely frugally, buying land & building our own house (ours was an earth sheltered one in Paso Robles with not a/c), going solar (20 years of it but alas not off-grid), & doing much of just what we want. I'm glad you did this video because I was wondering after watching the video about the completion of the solar power system. Good on you!
I do like the way that you both have explained how everything has come together. (I like many other viewers wondered how the heck you have afforded to do everything) It was good to see you both be real about how it hasn’t been as easy as it looks when it’s all edited and you have cash flow concerns like the rest of us. It makes it easier for your viewers to relate to you. Here is too continued success!!🍾
Great Story! Thanks for being so honest and open about both the ups and downs. I finally understand how you were able to build the Truck Camper is such a short time period. Having built several camping trailers myself, I have always been blown away with your quality of planning and preparation that went into that build. One day I need to buy you lunch and pick your brains! Thanks again!
I wanted to tell you guys that I love your videos. I think it's a rare thing to get to do what you do and still enjoy it. You have found a special niche and ya fill it beautifully. You honesty and humbleness is definitely what makes me enjoy watching you as I do. It's not staged or fake. Just good honest insight. Yeah editing is one thing but you still seem to be real genuine. Keep up the work and I hope you don't lose your passion, it's a special thing.
Awesome story about getting from "a" to where you are now. I applaud the willingness to forge ahead even when it may scare the boogers out of you and film it for us as you do, wholesome entertainment without the drama! Thank you both and do not stop on your journey forward.
Hey guys! My husband has watched your videos for quite a while. He recommended your channel to me. For the last several weeks we have been watching your container home build. Love your content! You guys come across as genuine nice trustworthy people. I, like many others, thought you must be rich 😅 this video almost had me on the verge of tears because it made me believe my husband and I really can build our dream place too! Thank you for showing us how you have been doing it all! ❤
You two are a true American story of grit and determination. Fake it 'till you make it. So true, but you learn along the way. You acknowledged your parents and friends for their support and advice. Just found your channel thru a Short that was posted today. What an amazing and inspiring story. Lots of lessons here for a new generation. Keep up the great work!
I'm in awe of how much you guys have achieved in so small a number of years. Plus you do it all so well. You're a great couple. Long may you continue succeeding bringing your dreams to fruition!!
Hands down my most favorite video! I have always believed that the quality that made you so much fun to watch was your authenticity. Today's video confirmed that you two rock!
Great video...I really like the summary (and format for this video, hiking, chatting, banter back and forth). Fascinating to see how you got to where you are. I came to your channel for the Camper Truck build, and have stayed on because you are both super genuine and I like where you're going. I also think your story is relatable...the biggest difference between you guys and the rest of us is that you're willing to take risks and put it out there. Really enjoy your passion! Thanks for letting us in. :)
This will probably sound cliche as I don't think words will truly express the impact your story has.... but I have to say it. .... What an amazing story; so inspirational. A true modern American fairy tale. It's with a warm fuzzy feeling that I immediately start my next business venture. Keep up the good work guys... I'm (and I'm sure many others are) looking forward to it!
Love the story…. I knew Riley was an engineer, we are just assembled in the factory a little different. I am not sure how I landed on your channel, but thank the UA-cam algorithm I guess. I think the fun part is really watching you guys grow along with the content - and the success of the channel has really driven your options. I find myself rooting for you as much as I enjoy the technical and creative aspects of your channel. I am here for as long as you will have us!
I found you guys while looking for home building ideas. This is literally the second video of you I have watched and I felt compelled to just say hello. What an amazing, hard working couple you guys are. Much love from Texas :)
I just stumbled onto your channel last night, starting with the septic install video. After about five others, I ended up on this video. You two are sooo cute, and inspiring!! I am 67 years young, and want to go to a homestead sooo badly! Your channel allows me to live a little vicariously through you. I have five grown children, and eighteen grands, so far. I hope to do some level of what you are doing, ideally with my grands, as my legacy. God bless you and Oliver and hopefully many more siblings for him (large families are an asset on the land) as the years progress. I hope to watch ALL of your videos as time permits. I really enjoyed this personal peak into your story. Thank you for taking the time and being vulnerable enough to show us this much about yourselves. It was very touching to me. Again, The Lord bless you both, and your (hopefully growing) family!!
Thank yo very much for sharing this video. I feel that a lot of young people think that YouTubing is fun but don't realize that it still requires hard work behind the scenes. Your detail of your life chapters clearly shows how much hard work is required to succeed in life. No effort - no meaningful success. This should be a must view for kids that just day dream through life and wait for hand outs. I will ensure my kids will see this. Keep the great content coming.
Thanks for all of the background. I have watched full series of other couples building their off-grid homesteads and always come away wishing I was younger and could do that. Keep up the good content.
The talking and filming works really well. I’m a new subscriber. Congratulations on your successes. I’ve owned my own business for 50 years now since age 10. Your hard work and frugal living is a key formula for step by step daily success and fulfillment. Really nice that you can do it together on the same team.
Both of you are amazing, keep up the great work. I'm a Financial Advisor and I keep telling my kids, my clients and the local schools that it's motivation that really makes someone successful, whether that is rich in life or financially! Not what degrees you have but if you do what you love, you will be successful and it doesn't feel like work at all. It's amazing hearing your story!
Thank you so much for this video. The theme is love, stress, being terrified, and working hard, hard, hard. Filming makes the project take about two times as long. Then editing takes as long as the project and filming did. Salute! You two, and your escapades are very entertaining and refreshing. Keep going!
When i saw the title, it didnt create a pressing desire to know but..... My curiosity has been cured now and glad we watched. Your honesty and the way you attack new projects is inspiring. We just built a new house and dealing with a contractor thats unreponsive is maddening. Being your own contractor you dont have that problem, we are so envious.
Hi guys, I appreciate how hard it was to share your personal story about how you got to the place in life our at. I know how hard to get started in life. together you have made an amazing adventure. Keep your sprits up and reach for the stars. You are an inspiration and so positive to all that you do.
Everybody saying it’s nobody’s business. These people are not casually walking down the street. They are purposely putting their content out there so asking questions about them is totally fair. And if they’re gonna put their business out there, it’s totally fair to ask about their business.
Y'all just said what I've always said, work hard and spend smart and you can do anything. I'm 70 and it's encouraging to see young people like you who get it 👍
Well done guys, it is great when years of hard work start to pay off in satisfaction and enjoyment. My wife and I renovated a couple of houses and started an engineering business, then started building an ocean-capable steel yacht. Over 4 years (and 2 children) later we moved aboard, cut ties with the land and set off around the Pacific.. scary starting that trip, but so rewarding and confidence-building once we were moving. While in Fiji we were sitting on the beach at the famous Blue Lagoon when a cruise boat arrived and shuttled their passengers ashore. We got talking to a couple, who looked puzzled and said that they hadn't seen us and our kids aboard, so we pointed to our yacht anchored nearby and explained that we were living aboard and cruising around the Pacific. "Humph" they said, "It's all right for SOME, isn't it??!!!!!!!" and walked off. We were a bit shocked, but it made us realize that they had absolutely no idea about the years of work, risks taken, sacrifices and determination that had got us there. So your story in this video feels very familiar, and I am glad that you made it! Part of your success comes from the fact that you two are a genuine team, not just a couple. Helps that you are both hard workers! So keep up the good work, keep making the videos, and I hope your subscriber base continues to grow. You deserve it...
Congratulations on your hard work and perseverance! It sounds like you've made a wonderful life for you and your family full of excitement, joy and I'm sure a lot of sacrifices. We hope 2022 treats you to many more adventures!
Said it before, I’ll say it again - it is SO MUCH FUN watching your vids! Not just informative, entertaining and inspiring, but REAL FUN! Love being a part of your digital family.
Your channel started showing up in my recommended videos because I have been doing some analysis on selling my current home, and purchases 15 acres of land and building an off grid home and garage/workshop. This video was actually quite helpful, as this can get quite expensive. I am finding that so many of the options for the home are actually more expensive than traditional building, and in some cases some three times more expensive than just building a normal stick home in a suburban area. It's been a little discouraging, but seeing what you have done, and how you were able to overcome some of the obstacles has been encouraging. I'm slowly finding things that may just work for our budget.
Dream big, and never quit chasing them. You guys have put in so much work to get to this point. Awesome story, can’t wait to see how the property evolves
I've watched a few of your videos. After watching this one I subscribed. You two got to where you're at with hard work and you're proof that opportunity exists in this great country if you put your mind to it. I've seen too many people sit and whine because they don't have anything and how unfair it is. They should all watch this video. Great inspiring video!
You guys are adorable. You are fearless. You are entertaining. You are interesting and extremely skilled. This UA-cam channel living off grid in Northern Idaho is IMHO simply mesmerizing. Spending more time with you guys than my own family now. Thanks for what you do and how you do it. Don't ever be ashamed of your success, you deserve every bit of it!
Well, this was unexpected. I've watched you guys for the content, your talents, the way you work together, your attitudes. Makes me wish to be so young again and adventurous. Keep doin' it. I'll keep watchin'!
You two are incredible. My wife and I think you're such cute kids. We love watching your videos and it was great to learn all about how you two got started and have been so determined working on all of your projects. Yes, we liked the walking and talking! Keep up the hard work and we look forward to all of your videos!
Been binge-watching y'all build your property over the last couple of weeks. I went back to fill in some gaps and found this video. What an exceptionally awesome story yall have!! Might have "smiled" some tears out a few times! Hard work, luck, family, fake it till you make it! Well done and keep it up. This I will share with in my circle and those I mentor in my business. Thank you for the real talk and inspiration.
Good for you guys. I'm 76 and owned my own small speciality business for 30 years after 20 years with a large corp. Wish when I was your age I'd had your mental state about enjoying life more than working my butt off and providing for others. Just subscribed and will follow your progress. Keep taking on the things you know nothing about and conquering life.
I just want to say that your content is awesome, so badass. But the thing that honestly truly blows my mind is your beautiful loving relationship. In this day and age that is so insanely rare to see with younger couples. You two are beautiful glisten of hope, thank you!!!!
Congratulations to your parents! They did good! Nice to know hard work still does pay off! PS: like Jack M said in his comment …”It’s no one else’s business” … but thank you for sharing!
im subscribed to soooo many channels, that i almost don't hit that red button anymore. Watching this video today was by accident. As a result I'm subscribed to yet another channel. You guys are just ordinary people, and very open and honest. That's refreshing these days.
I love you guys so much. Believe it or not, I have been hands on all of my life, have a wonderful home, and much to be thankful for but I have been planning on building my you tube channel on woodworking, and am remodeling my shop, and garage to get ready. Most of all I love the love you two have for one another. I know this is getting personal, but when I was sacrificing, and working to build my shop/business, we spent 8 years renting a barn to do so, and she finally quit. She left, and six months later she married the old boyfriend, lived in a depressed neighborhood, and at the same amount of time, six months later I found my new shop in a prestigious neighborhood, and it was huge. I was scared because I master charged the first month’s rent, and didn't know where I was going to go after that. Oddly enough, I did as much business in that first month as we used to do in a whole year in the barn. It went on to becoming the largest shop in all of Western Delaware County doing more business than any others of my competition out of over 250 other shops, had 11 full time employees, some of the best in the industry, and I had a reputation of being high quality, honest, and expensive. Of course, that drew all of the people who were like minded and wanted that kind of service. When I see you guys, I still get a pain in my chest for not having what you guys have. Thank God you hung in there. When my wife met me, she said, one of the things I love about you the most is that you never quit. Patience and persistence, and perseverance is something I adhere to. I guess she learned that the many times she would quit before meeting me, she learned to regret it. Well, this one has got to be one big regret. If you knew the deplorable area she moved to, at the most menial job at minimum wage while I was bathing in so much abundance in finally achieving our dream. Thanks for letting me share all of this with you, and wish me luck in my You Tube venture. It will be another month to finish up the shop, but my lifetime of woodworking experience, and ability to share what have learned in interesting ways should be a worthwhile experience. LOve you guys with all of my heart. You're at the top of my list of most favorite You Tube channels. Your smiles are so endearing. I can't wait to see how your channel continues to grow.
Great back story! Now that I understand you two better, I have become a faithful follower. So glad you shared it with your UA-cam family. Now I underatand how you were able to build that camper. I'm pretty handy and I wouldn't have been able to do that AND make it look awesome. You two are an amazing couple. Looking forward to seeing more of you. Best of luck!
WOW!!! Just had to comment on you guys. While I am now mid 70's I have been in so many ventures during my lifetime I feel that in a way you two are following me. I haven't worked for anyone but myself since I graduated high school many years ago. I raised five children, had three wives and resided in many locations always chasing that almighty dollar. I have been a building contractor, a long haul OTR trucker, a trade show exhibitor, a paint and body man, mechanic and the list goes on. May you never stop your dreams or change your ways and surly luck will follow you through life. Salute!
Hard work, persistence and moving forward despite fears of failure? Nothing but respect. Plus, from the people I’ve met in Idaho you’re a good fit. It seems like folks there are still real. Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
What’s going to keep it all together for you two is your relationship. The trust you have for each other is quite evident to myself and the other viewers. Life is always an adventure. I really glad you’re enjoying it, in spite of some of the anxiety. Rock on.
I enjoy watching you both in your build. It has been amazing to see how much progress you have made so far. I look forward to seeing these next chapters.
Your authenticity is so so infectious. It was way to easy to get caught up in your musings and the curiosity factor was the driver. What was the end game going to be as the drama unfolded. For me your humble personas is what is so mesmerizing. I was drawn in and enjoyed the time I spent watching you both flourish and dance (in harmony) through life's challenges. You were not given it all but you earned it all. Sadly, ambition is lacking in today's "entitlement" generation. Loved your stories! GOD speed to you both!
That's a very inspirational story, you guys are doing so much hard work I live watching your videos and why your video is late I am waiting and checking daily
I can't express enough my gratitude for how open you are sharing your journey. It gives me hope that I don't need to start with wealth to create. Your passion, disipline, and entrepreneur mindset....coupled with a ton of hard work and mutual support is an inspiration. Thank you!
Hi, new subscriber here. I'm so glad I found your channel! I'm really enjoying your story and I have nothing but respect and admiration for how hard you are working and what you are accomplishing. Thanks for sharing the journey, and good luck with all of your goals! (And also congrats on 139K subscribers!!)
It sounds to me - all things considered - that it's not about "affording" or "not affording" for you guys. It's about choices, vision, work, sacrifice, love, and sharing the experience with each other and your viewers! Sounds like a very exciting and fulfilling adventure! May God bless you both - your marriage and friendship, your ongoing projects, your future family, and your path to Him!
Your story is a breath of fresh air to me. Especially when I hear so many young people who seem to only complain about their circumstances and blame their problems on others rather than taking the reigns of responsibility for their own lives... My advice to you and to everyone is... Work hard and stay out of debt... If you have take on debt. Pay it off quickly because debt like fear of risk will hold you back... When I was young I was very hesitant to take chances or risks. As a result I missed out on many opportunities. Including the chance to be part of building from the ground up a solar energy company back in the 70's... I did however take some chances and by the time I was 20. I started to realize that taking chances more often led to bigger opportunities and more satisfying accomplishments. Eventually going full in on everything I wanted to do. The need for a creative outlet caused me to take on any project and learn as I go becoming a jack of all trades and by age 26 a Journeyman electrician. We, my wife and I dabbled in a couple businesses. Even buying and renting houses over the years. My wife and I eventually bought a fairly remote off grid property. We have mostly by our selves, over the last 7 years been building infrastructure and a house in our efforts to turn the place into a farm. We're both over 60 now and married for 38 years. We often wish we had started this latest adventure when we were much younger. However.... There's nothing like hard work at things you enjoy to keep you young...
I really like one thing you said, "Take the plunge and make it happen" My wife and I need to take that very advice. We are 76 and 80 so we need to do it soon, whatever plunge it happens to be (not building a homestead)
after waking up from a coma and moving to Idaho I have discovered, post a few years of recovery from wheelchair to walking again, that living off grid is all for me. thank you for providing methods and attitudes needed to move forward.
Truth
I agree. Keep going guys, keep making content that you enjoy do take some breaks. Glad to see all your hard work and risk taking is paying off. I'll just keep going on my daily 9-5 grind 🤭. Travel safe
Go big or stay home..love it congrats you'all.
The story behind the story is amazing. It is so great to see 2 young people (cannot believe I just turned into my parents) chasing their dreams and doing so well. Never be afraid of failure, that's what teaches you new skill and directions.
Success is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration... Your story is inspiring, thanks for sharing!!!

Y’all are incredible!!!!! Most would die for a relationship like yours. You’re a team and it’s awesome!!! Y’all are great
It’s no one else’s business how you earn a living. We just appreciate you sharing your lives with us. Well made video btw.
With you there....all we need its your inspiration. You owe us nothing.
Just do what you need you do and do what you want to do.
How or why its no matter....but if we can help just ask
Well said Jack
I totally agree. My mum always used to say “MYOB”. Mind Your Own Business. Thanks for letting us see what you are happy to share with us.
Totally agree
I totally agree it's nobody's business how you've created this life and your UA-cam channel I enjoyed very much keep up the good work and your endeavors!
That was so freakin great. I’ll be 75 in a week or so and I love you guys. You are so cute and so good together. Nothing ordinary about either of you, you’ve lived more in a few years than most of us in a lifetime. Keep it up, so look forward to seeing what’s coming for you guys.
Well said.
This was beautiful. Thank you both for sharing all this with us.
Your HONESTY is so refreshing! Keep pushing your limits! You gained a subscriber today.
17:55 "But at this point I didn't even care anymore..." It's amazing how many of life's adventures start with that phrase.
I appreciate this video. My wife and I are giving it our all to build a farm and business from scratch. We are also just faking it till me make it, and it's inspiring to see that you two have gotten to where you are from hardwork. I hope life brings you everything you want.
Love the heart to heart camp side chat. You guy's have given me lots of inspiration to carry on with my life after many set backs. Thanks you guy's.
23:55 Oh no Courtney we totally LOVE you guys talking and filming! Amazing and great couple! Am binge watching all your videos!!
Thanks!
Thank you!! 😊
Thank you so much! We really underestimated how rewarding it would be to share all of our projects with you all!
I am 67 years young and both of you have done so much in your lives! I will continue to watch your videos as long as you make them!
I'm in awe of how much you guys have achieved in so small a number of years. Plus you do it all so well. You're a great couple. Long may you continue succeeding bringing your dreams to fruition!!
What it takes to succeed? Money? No!
Mindset, awareness, critical thinking and stamina!
You guy's are an inspiration to many. Thank you.
Hands down my most favorite video! I have always believed that the quality that made you so much fun to watch was your authenticity. Today's video confirmed that you two rock!
Hard work pays off! You're encouraging others to take the plunge in following their dreams. Keep at it!
Taking risks never gets easier, but the results can be amazing!
We’ve got BIG plans for the rest of the year. Thanks for joining us on this adventure! ☺️
@@AmbitionStrikes You checked a calendar recently? The years is--shockingly--nearly over! :-)

I really enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing!
I found you guys while looking for home building ideas. This is literally the second video of you I have watched and I felt compelled to just say hello. What an amazing, hard working couple you guys are. Much love from Texas :)
Thanks for watching Troy! ☺️
WELL DONE on what you are doing! You guys deserve everything that you have achieved!
The talking and filming works really well. I’m a new subscriber. Congratulations on your successes. I’ve owned my own business for 50 years now since age 10. Your hard work and frugal living is a key formula for step by step daily success and fulfillment. Really nice that you can do it together on the same team.
Love, love, love you both! Seeing you together reminds me not to take life for granted.
Well deserved success guys. It's great to see all the hard work pay off. I've personally enjoyed following along and sharing your projects. Cheers!
I'm 70 and it's encouraging to see young people like you who get it 👍
you kind of also need luck on your side.
The reason your show is so addicting is because you are always smiling and projecting can do attitude. I am addicted.
You guys are proof that sometimes good things happen to good people. Everything you have is deserved. Congratulations!
I agree with Jack. Your life, your deals. We just love your videos.
I taught you how to deal with Yellowjackets. And they will be there this spring!!

Thank you for the real talk and inspiration.
Thank you for your honesty. You guys are the real deal. Now I'm subscribing. Keep it up.
Wow, what a great video.

Truly AMBITIOUS!

INSPIRING!
Thank you so much for supporting our channel! ☺️
Thanks for this video. It's great knowing how it all started. Y'all are hard working and deserve all that you have.
Salute!
Seems like Lots of hard work went into this. You guys are a great team. No need to be stressed anymore! Enjoy fruits of your labor!
Hard work, persistence and moving forward despite fears of failure? Nothing but respect. Plus, from the people I’ve met in Idaho you’re a good fit. It seems like folks there are still real. Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Congratulations to you two! Hard work pays off. Can’t wait to see your build complete.
Keep your smiles! You two brighten my day I look forward to each video .
Wow thanks guys! Awesome to hear how hard you guys worked for so many years
The main reason I started watching you folks was your enduring Honesty!!!
Love your Channel!
You two are truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you so much! ☺️
You deserve everything…..you work so hard! What a beautiful couple…
Love the channel!! You guys are a breath of fresh air, thank you :)
I really like one thing you said, "Take the plunge and make it happen" My wife and I need to take that very advice. We are 76 and 80 so we need to do it soon, whatever plunge it happens to be (not building a homestead)
You guys are really amazing and very humble. Way to go
Hell yeah! Treck on! Make your path in the way you see fit! That’s what life is all about, and worth living!
