Mark Dudley, Senior Electronic Engineer for Civacon, reviews the steps to unload a petroleum trailer equipped with the COPS (crossover prevention) system.
Mark didn’t seem to concerned about whatever the light hose was doing in the box. He’s probably been doing it so long he could do it with his eyes shut lol
all those wireless electronic signals around a gas truck and tanks... what about all those pieces being ignition sources? I'm not a fan and think it's more of a risk than a helper....
can a cops equipped trailer unload at a non cops equipped station? also, can a air operated manifold api system be set up with cops to work on a bulk fuel delivery truck?
Some companies train to always drop the odd product first then closing that tank up, this will greatly reduce cross drops. Downside might be losing time if you could drop regular and then hook up odd product while other is draining.
Hey! Trying to get some feedback...QUESTION. I BELIEVED THE PYROMETER WAS ONE OF A Sophisticated PIECE OF EQUIPMENT... HOWEVER....IT DOES NOT. DETECT AND OR EXTINGUISH A FIRE IN THIS PARTICULAR HEAVY USE EQUIPMENT: SEMIs...why? #ANSUL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM...
Could just hire drivers who know what they’re doing. Instead you’re making it so easy any moron can do it. What happens when you go to a station without this technology?
This is for the company that hires meat in a seat instead of professional drivers. All this is junk that will fail overtime. Quarter turns and cork seals and with old school belly vales never steer you wrong.
Can you please show a demonstration of how the system prevents a cross drop

Seems like more trouble than it's worth
So even an idiot cant cross drop.🙄
Good system....never cross drop.....or scaly out on terminal..
Lol hey there i saw that foot stomp locking in the elbow lol

Please can you allow to totraslate caption of your video
Never used the bucket huh? 😅
the driver was not protected against electrostatic and spill and no casket. not safe
No better way to make a mechanical valve no longer operable. Just add electronics to ensure future troubles!
Its not overfill proof tho lol
or you could hire drivers who know how to pay attention.
You can make a human error.....
Mark looks like a supervisor, mainly because he is not doing things very well...

"He just now connected his vapor hose".. Little late there bud. Should be done first in my experience.
Didn’t necessarily need it for diesel
And Mark incorrectly connected the vapor hose to the UST first; the vapor connects to the tanker first.
