Nice video, there is another model, the ProTact which has a more powerful zoom , also has a magnet at the bottom and a lantern mode when the head is extended. There is also a ring attached at the head, that when it is unscrewed it gives a wider beam of light. The body is made of iron/steel unlike the Original one, made of aluminium.
Love the shelves with all of your flashlights on it. I have a small wall mounted shelve with my 10 flashlights on it, same idea, just you have more money than I do. I had to stop buying they but I'm a 'flashlight' and 'Pen' collector. I have hundreds of pens, all worth $ 30.00 and up, and about 20 or so of them are A-T-Cross Pens, but I was working when I bought all of the pens. I'm on a very small disability now and am lucky to eat, let alone buy any more flashlights or pens. It sucks big time. Anyway, just thought I'd mention your shelves with your flashlights on them, awesome man.
Action Camera It's XM-L (XM-L2 in newer units), so it will do 900lm when driven from an 18650 (a proper one, not one of the various "fire" brands). 400-500lm is realistic on AAAs.
Note that newly manufactured TacLites come with an XM-L2 LED. If yours came with the original XM-L, it's either fake or old stock. Also, a decent 18650 (Panasonic or other Japanese / Korean brands) will be significantly brighter than 3xAAA - up to 2x as bright. Runtime should actually be longer with an 18650, since no AAA can manage 3000+ mAh.
I got mine for about $20 through Publishers Clearing House. Lasted less than a year - the battery compartment got corroded - not water resistant - didn't submerge it, I did use it once while raining outside - very disappointed and wonder how I can get it replaced.
Nice review. Please don't feel offended by this but I'm a Walking Dead fan and my friend your voice reminds me of Eugene from the show. You sound extra professional and smart like him in a good way. No harm intended. Great review 👌👍👏😌
I like mine. Got it for i think 24 bucks including handling but i got 2 of them for 24 bucks. That's $ 24 Canadian. I'm happy but they definitely " oversell" this in their commercial.
same issue here, so i pulled that switch out and canabalised a single on off type switch from a cheapo flashlite and modded it into the original end cap..you cant tell its modded but 1 push is on and 1 push off..much better than cycling thru all those modes u dont use
this flash light doesn't even last long it says on its water resistant i put it in water in it and the betteries got wet n the water got into the switch n now it doesn't wanna turn back on
lola mmckay ; I lost mine one rainy night, found it in the morning, and now it acts really funky , mosture got into the bulb chamber and I can't get into it to dry it out! Other than NOT being water resistant, it's a farely good light
There's a problem with this flashlight. It draws current even when it's off draining some of the batteries and after a few uses the switch quit working.
Absolute junk!! Got one for Father's Day, my mom included 3, brand new batteries taped to the package. Put them in, worked great, 24 hours later I go to use it, the button Won't click on and it stobes slowly. Replace the batteries with brand new Duracell, next night, batteries are dead, same behavior as before. The lantern I got for Christmas (same brand name) is a little better, meaning the batteries last longer, but not for a long period of time. Going to check out other brands, any suggestions?
same for me...drains the AAA batteries so fast its dissapointing im going to try the 18650 lithium battery when i can find one...but AAA is gonna shock u how quick they drain
It's BELL HOWELL..............Not Bell AND Howell the company that made the projectors . The company that makes the flashlights and other pieces of crap are pulling a fast one. Thank you
These lights are a piece of crap. I bought one at Walmart. The seal in the front of the lens came loose so now it moves around and interferes with the beam. Also these lights ARE NOT waterproof. They aren't worth five dollars. Don't waste twenty dollars on one. Get you a Mag Lite. They are the real deal.
This is not a joke instead of using the AAA battery power pack that comes with it used to N batteries lithium ion and it drives this thing I would say at least four times harder and it is insanely bright with those batteries.

I did not see the lumen outputs on the box or manual. No way it is 900 lumens. I would guess about 400 lumens.

Good product I recommend it. I found it at Walmart a package of 3 of them for $20.00
Bell AND Howell.

That's totally what I was going for, thanks for watching!
I like how they roll over the plastic light and it gets squash
I just bought a 3pk of these at walmart for $19.88 + tax it was a killer deal
En Ecuador el costo de 25$
How do you shut the thing off???
With that price, you can get a jaxmann triple nichia , convoy s2+...
At least have fast pwm? Or memory switch?

Beam distance and how narrow it is???
Flashlight +10 in hot weather, but a 0 in cold weather...really sucks in cold weather,it dims.
It's an ok light but having to press the switch 5 times is a pain.

my two broke after 1 week , bright with new batteries only
lola mmckay water resistant does not mean water proof lol
Water resistant means it would work against some rain drops not being fully submerged in water.
lola mmckay
That's correct this flashlight won't last at all.
Im so Disappointed

Thank you. Great review. (subscribed)
I found one in the basement.
The current Bell + Howell company has nothing to do with the company from days past which made cameras and projectors.
the hausbell 7v you can find reviews on UA-cam is better $699 is brighter and you get two
Yeah it works, I bought 2. BUT, they will eat literally 3 AAA batteries !!!
Just beware....
God Bless
Lee Texas true it's a great lash light to survive but not for telling stories
Lee Texas how long does it last on average for you?
same for me...drains the AAA batteries so fast its dissapointing im going to try the 18650 lithium battery when i can find one...but AAA is gonna shock u how quick they drain
The tail cap switch is dubious. I don't recommend this product.

Im so disappointed it didn't last long. The whole flashlight is knockoff.
