Rainbow Trout Fishing - Amazing Day at the Lake in New Zealand Catching Trouts with the Little One!

Trout initiation: Woke up at 4:00 in the morning.
Got all our bits and bobs ready, then jumped into the car with the little one who was excited for a full day of fishing! She had never in her life caught a fish or ever had a whiff of trout.
After finding our spot and downing a couple of snacks, we noticed a trout starting to bend her wee, pink fishing rod. I set the hook and left the rod in her hands, and the rest is history!
The first one she reeled in had her screaming for help but I didn’t move a finger. Once she got it in her head that she had to rely on herself, the other fish were in the bag in no time!
My moustache was lifted by a big smile stuck to my face the entire day!!!
