Jordan Brand will re-release the Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared in 2019.
The Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared 2019 will come equipped with Nike Air branding on the heel. This will be the first time that this colorway of the model comes with Nike Air branding since the 2000 release. The rest of the shoe consists of a Black nubuck upper with Infrared detailing on the midsole, heel, and the lace lock all while being placed on top of an icy translucent outsole.
Look for the Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared 2019 to release during All-Star Weekend on February 16th for the retail price of $200.

You guys said no one cares about the Nike air anymore? For me, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE OG colors that don the Nike air. I think people still do cherish this addition. However, people care more for collabs over OG colors. Union, Travis, OVO, etc. Yeah they are nice. people want limited which kills the game and kills the knowledge and history behind shoes. For me, game worn colors like the infrared 6, bred 4, bred 11, 88 3’s hold more weight in history than a Don C or a union. Yeah the price is higher and hype is higher these days but history and legends never die. So for all those who prefer “limited collabs” over OG’s, that’s fine. Leave the OG’s alone so I can get them. Mayor said it best, “you don’t love shoes if you don’t buy inline.” PERIOD!

DnA Show I agree classics will sell but FOR ME, having that Nike Air is nostalgic and for most, can help to either bring back memories, or help with the imagination of what it must have been like buying shoes in the 1984-90’s era. I wasn’t there buying shoes back then as I was born in 94 and missed those days every old shoe lover talks about. I have educated myself on these releases and have come to appreciate what they were and what place they hold in history. Craftsmanship of the Nike Air just adds a little extra to the shoe. @@VintageDonny216 Jordan Brand didn't exist when the AJ12 came out. JB didn't become its own brand until the 13 released; that's why the "CEO Jordan' campaign and advertisements released onside the AJ13. The AJ12 released in the same Nike box that the Bred 11 released in.

I was 10 years old in 1991. I loved these ever since. I saw the 2010 release in the shop but couldn't get my size. I was Well prepared for the 2014 release. So for the first time ever I was able to buy these in 2014..I bought both the black and the white pair. I would say they are my favourite ones too..I like that pinkish infrared on the 2014 pair.
I got the 2014' and I love them because the infrared is like pink and it looks more retro so it looks like the real shiiit. Dope video guys !
Unpopular opinion but 2014 are my favorite just because of the “infrared” color that year. 6s are definitely my favorite silhouette though especially infrared, Motorsport, and UNC colorways.

I've got the 2019's and 2010 varsity red's. And with what it cost to own these shoes, I think I'm good on infra's. Had to double up in the 2014's, 2019's, and Varsities. Just found a pair of 2000 infrareds in mint condition for 180 complete with the box and card. A good day gotta say. Fast forward a week. Recieved the shoes and box. But apparently the card was stolen or wasn't sent. Guess I should have known

I had the 2014 pair. they were fire but needed some money and I sold them. I'm glad they brought out the OG's with the Nike on the back. Although, looking at them now. I like the 2014 more bc they 3m pops out more on the holes than the 2019. I might just go back and get the 2014 again.

I can't believe I gave my 91's away to my cousin. Size 8, I wore them twice and grew out of them. He played football in them and they were destroyed in a few months. At least I got to wear them..

The Jordan 6 black infrared is my favorite sneaker of all time. I favor the 2019 model because it has "Nike Air" on the back heel like the original.

The darker infrared on the 2019s changes the whole game over the 2014s. Plus the nike air on the heel. No contest 2019s.
I had the infrared pack. The quality of nubuck was amazing but the infrared color was a lil off.

Killer Review and comparison guys. It's so cool to see so many people have different preferences on the same shoe. For me the Bred 6 is the best quality as a shoe overall, but the 2019 is a very good retro still. The lack of the waxed/leather back panel ruins the shoe somewhat and thus makes me prefer then the 2014 pair as I love the super pink pop, and I'm really not bothered by the Jumpman on the back over the NA. Mex

The black stitching on the back of the Infrared VIs has always made it harder to kare about the lack of Nike Air on these tbh. Not that big of a deal but as an OG head we koppin’ regardless 😂

The Metallic 5's have Nike and Jumpman on the lace lock. It's hard to see because of the plastic piece that goes around it.

2000 is the best because is much more close to the OG. The difference between the heel and the front material give to the shoe a better look, even if the color is black on black. Also "NIKE AIR" still matter a lot!
