Can't believe that kid actually thought he won that, lol. Bro was literally a punching bag for Gallo in every round. Kid had the reach and age advantage and he has some great potential, but he couldn't match the power of Gallos hits, and Gallo obviously has more experience. Impressive as hell for Gallo to hang that long with an 18 year old, land that many hits AND walk away with the victory. Well done!

@karlwithak1835 Sure you do. Go get in the scrapyard and prove it. Regardless of what you claim, you're objectively wrong that a 19 year age difference doesn't give the younger guy an advantage in most cases. That doesn't mean the older guy can't still perform better, obviously, as Gallo did in this very video. It just means he's all that more impressive for it.

I agree with the decision. The loser put in great effort and probably threw more punches but they didn't land clean and seemed ineffective. On top of that he wouldn't move out of the way after throwing his punches so he took a lot of hard clean blows which I think made him lose most of the exchanges. If I were him I think I would practice getting out out range after engaging whether that's by stepping back or pivoting to a different angle. Lastly, as the taller fighter with more reach I think he shouldn't chase his opponent so much. I think his best moments were when he boxed from the outside letting his opponent over reach so he can land some nice clean counters. He has a lot of potential so it's exciting to see how he gets better. You disagree with everything I said? That's fair, I'm not an expert haha Congrats to the winner, he boxed really well
He had speed, reach, and heart, but he gave away his reach and speed by always stepping forward. Good decision

yep, I agree. The taller fighter also became too predictable with his punching and aggression which made it easier for the shorter fighter to counter. He had some good moments but the cleaner shots were belonged to the smaller guy.

Absolutely agree with the decision. Gallo hits with power and was pounding other dudes head. Gallo at 37 years old is a force and he beat a very good fighter.
I assumed Arana would have this fight but Gallo really pulled through and got some good shots and hung in there. I definitely agree with the decision but it was a good fight. That can't be easy hanging in there with a 18 or 19 year old. And some of those shots by Gallo looked pretty strong. Props to Arana for handling those.

Decision is correct. When you are fighting it is very easy to over-estimate how well you are doing.
On a 10 must scoring system, all three rounds go to the red corner... correct decision... and the 'power punch' landed percentage would be an even more overwhelming win for red... good fight guys, thanks as always to FC and SB...~~Just me, RD

The kid is only 18, he definitely has a warrior mindset. The fight was very close, it could be draw. Any way keep your head up. You did hell of a job and you have a lot of potential.

Older guy in red showed much better technique. Found his distance and landed a good amount of combos. Hits total was close. Younger hung in there but didn’t land as many blows.

I guarantee you that the outcome would be the same. Guy in white has been coached on nothing but his jab, which isn't even that powerful. Worst part is that he has no follow-up to that jab. Guy in red is twice his age and gives up a lot of reach. He's just a better, more experienced boxer.

@@granddaddyofthemall6320 You obviously don't box. All things being equal, the fighter with the longer reach will be able to keep the opponent on the outside with his jab.
@@ayokay123 I do box. And you don't get it longer arms are only an advantage on the outside, but a disadvantage in more ways. Example shorter arm inside advantage, speed advantage, strength advantage. See weight classes makes height and reach null and void because if two fighters weigh the same but one is way taller the taller boy is giving up more than he gains.

That was a pretty close fight , I did some tally marking, Gallo did take it by a few. I can see why Araña thinks otherwise. Hope to see him fight again soon💪

Thank you, it damn well wasnt easy, he was getting me frustrated because i underestimated him before the fight, never again will i underestimate someone else due to age or training, i learned that anyone is always dangerous no matter how hard they train and how much they work

Gallo won this close fight with pinpoint punching. La Arana was headhunting too much and beaten to the punch a lot of times. Good decision and poor sportsmanship on La Arana. Hope he looks back on the fight tape to review his performance.😃

I like the young fella, i think he is a good fighter but if I'm being honest i will always favor the older fight to win & maybe that's because i relate to getting older. Great call on this fight!

Close fight. 👏Looked like he rocked him in the third that imo gave Gallo the edge but you never know unless you’re in the ring. The kid did control the ring a bit better but power goes to the “old man”

I’m a big La Arana fan and I want him to do well. I think he should work on throwing his jab and quick combos, then backing out. He has so much speed and quickness…stick and move! Plus, please get your hands back up after throwing punches and defend yourself. Don’t like you taking hard shots. Love and appreciate you, Arana! You will only improve from this!
Gallo definitely did the most damage. If it were round by round, La Arana may, and only may, have taken the second round. Not a tough one to score.

close fight i thought white shirt afro won more acurate and cleaner boxing and he only got hit because unwilling to move in and out like his coach instructed to eager to rush and stay in the strengths of shorter opponent i think result should have been draw or to taller afro tho

Gallo won every round, and the 1st and 3rd rounds were not even close, clear obvious W for Gallo. Arana needs to learn how to throw a lead hook consistently, he will start having a lot more success when his opponent doesn't know to expect the 1-2 everytime. That lead hook is key when you are a southpaw like Arana.

Awesome camera work and production, the sound quality is great too. The only thing that would make this better would be if the referee would yell out “ a la chingada, Arriba los putasos” ! 😤
Gallo took that for sure, his punches were way more effective an he never stopped throwing regardless of he was slower using his timing. Arana punches weren't effective mostly smothered cuz not using proper distance but he did land a good straight right in 1st round because he was at good distance
