Actually the most underrated character in the show, I was glued to his arc
Funny choice of words. Glue. Rat traps use glue. This guy resembles a rat. He even used rat poisoning.
I'm definitely one of "those fans" who complains about the show(for good reasons) but Norman was definitely my favorite character arc.
@@spacecowboy1438 really i didnt think it was that bad they couldve did alot worse and they followed the fallout script vault dweller leaves vault to find father
@@dylanjk5946 for me the show was a 6.5 out of 10.
I liked watching it and have already rewatched it twice but it could have been so much better. Even with just a change of setting. Would have been awesome as a Texas story, but was mid as a West Coast story.
He wasn't underrated at all.
Weird he wasn't part of the media tour with the rest of the cast. Just a few Webcam interviews.
He wasn't a lead, but still a prominent character.
Agreed, I think he did a great job along with a few others that did great jobs with more side roles.
He’s like the unofficial 4th protagonist
He's the B story lead. I'm glad he's getting attention.
Definitely the most popular "rat-style" character I've ever seen. Master Splinter is the only exception I can think of.
100% agree
He tagged Science, Speech and Sneak skills. He's also got the small framed trait for +1 agility.
Also, remember how he looked at Moldaver as she was reacting to his dad's speech.
That's gotta be a 9 PER right there. He knew what was coming.
@@FSK69 He also noticed the small drop of blood on the foosball table. PER is definitely his highest stat, followed by INT, CHA. He's unstoppable on Mentats. STR is an obvious dump stat
@@caiuscosades362 Love how everyone is trying to guess his ig stats 🤣
In real life the actor is +10 rat. That's why they chose him for the show. A rat hero confined underground who uses rat poisoning on unarmed prisoners
Maybe not speech. hes a terrible liar. lol
Norm was the only one sticking to the main questline. Everyone else is running around doing side quests all day. He's almost like a game speedrunner
Haha love this
He took the character and made it his own. I made a Fallout 4 Character based on him. He dies a lot.
Was the character a "rat-man" hybrid like the actor?
I laughed out loud at this
@@TheSpiderman7285 Yeah he's a bit odd looking, but I like him. Smart, smarmy, he'd be a good kidder in the real world.
@@sid2112 many players, not fully aware, make the Norm char. it is the INT PER some AG build. small frame, Speech, science, stealth.
quite literally, I've watched more INT=8 + speech for dialog options more than any other builds. it does come down to role playing in the games.
I love the character. He embodied a lot of what I love about fallout. Combing through a destroyed vault trying to piece together what happened.
The actor really embodies being a rat in real life. Luckily, that carried over in the show. The character is very weak, timid, short, and rat-like. It's perfect. He even used rat poisoning on unarmed prisoners. That's a nod to actor's ancestry. They came over with the Italian and Polish rats on Ellis Island.
@@TheSpiderman7285 Columbians?
@@paulietens1212 No. Rats. Remember that movie An American Tail? Five and his family came over on Ellis Island
@@paulietens1212 *Fivel, not Five
Loved Norm! Ended up being my favorite character.
Same
he was great!
Rats are cool. I'm glad they found and actor that resembles and acts like a rat in the show.
Agreed. All the other characters annoyed me at some point (especially Idiot Savant Maximus) but Norm started out at max Intelligence and Peception and then GREW into Courage during the season. Norm was the most logically consistent.
At the start, I didn’t think Norm would be in it as much as he was. But as it continued, I wanted to see him dig up more. Such a fun character and to see his character grow was great.
loved his character!
My favorite character of the show. I found Norm’s performance to be completely intriguing
Surprised by his story arc I threw him away as just a coward but he has his mothers curiosity and I think he's done hiding.
He turned out to be bolder than he thought he could be. A good character
Honestly one of my favorite characters in the entire show. It's a shame that he hasn't gotten more attention
Feels like moises would be a true friend youd want for life.
He's the main character of the underground vault world... lucy is the main character of the surface
Exactly what i'm thinking

Norm’s stats in game:
1 point skills: Strength, Endurance, Agility, Luck
2 points skill: Charisma
10 points skills: Perception & Intelligence
Audience points: 💯
Really love how his developement arc went. He's the fourth main character. I hope he gets out of the vault and join the others in their adventure.
Moises was a fantastic addition to the show. Would love to see his character evolve as the story goes on.
For a lot of us, Norm is the character we relate to most! "Lacks enthusiasm".
I mean, like, yeah we all love Lucy but a lot of us get exhausted just looking at how much energy she has. I feel like I could keep up with Norm's level of energy. Not too much, not too little.
Norm is my wife’s favorite character I thought he was dope too. Can’t wait to see more of norm in season 2.
Honestly, Norm was probably one of the most underrated performances all year 👏
Norm was a great character and his arc was my favorite next to the Ghouls.
Honestly my favorite character in the show, the main three all killed it as well, but I've always thought it was strange that vault dwellers never question the nature of their reality. I loved the suspense as he navigated around the overseer, the character and his arc felt a lot more 'real' to me than the others grand adventure fantasy-esque story.
amazing character and the actor played it so well.. i always wrote off the fallout games for many years and didnt have the patience for them. this show single handedly turned me into a die hard fallout fan from the show to now even the games lol.
Norm, the Ghoul and Lucy were written really well and the actors portrayed them fantastically.
I really enjoyed his character and the way he was written- can’t wait to see more in season 2!!
Norm is my favorite character
Moisés Arias did a great job, I was stunned by his performance.
he was on a great show called The Middle about a family.
They did a fantastic job with the characters have such interesting personality and arcs even if they aren't the "main" characters of the show, and Norm was such a great character to watch the camera start to slowly pan to I felt like, as in the beginning with Lucy's intro he seems well lazy and unlikely to do anything, so though he is funny and likeable, we kind of disregard him only to realize that he is brave and a hero in his own way.
I think he's going to be awesome... so far, great work.
Norm was by far my Favorite character in a show filled to the brim with amazing characters and the lack of interviews from him is upsetting.
Really enjoyed him in the show. Would love to see him in more. He gave me Paul Dano vibes in the best way possible.
Loved norm, I was looking forward to his scenes, mystery
Such a great actor, character too! Norm definitely needs to stay prominent in season 2
In most cases, the vault’s storyline would have been the boring part of the show. ‘Let’s get back to the surface!’ But the team did such a great job that I was just as exited to see Norm what he was up to. And Moises’s performance played a big part in that. The cousin was great too 😂
I honestly thought Norm and Chet were both just throw-away characters when I watched episode one, because ... Lucy left the vault and her story went with her. But I was so pleased when they came back to the story back at home which we never got in any of the games. And it was fantastic! The Vault story was every bit as interesting as the rest of the show.
My prediction for Norm in season 2: He doesn't have to go into the cryo-pod right away. He can threaten Bud, he can threaten to sabotage the other pods if Bud doesn't let him out... or... yeah, otherwise he is screwed. lol
Love it! Lets get to season two!
this guy is great i was so happy he is in the show i knew him from Five Feet Apart such a great movie and actor ❤
I have to say his character was a pleasant suprise. I fully expected him to dissappear once lucy went to the surface, but his story was probably the most interesting in that his char does the most to expose vault life, and teh truth hidden in the vault creation. I kinda identify with his char the most as far as his reactions, double entendres, suspicious nature, and need to risk it all for the truth. I also love Betty as the unlikely sweet grandmother villian.
Really great interview!
Norm is a great character. Surprised me alot.
He had my favorite story of the show hopefully more screen time in season 2 and if he dies b4 getting out into the wasteland I’ll be sad I’m sure it’d be really entertaining to see him fight a deathclaw
I still see him as Bonzo, that said he did great as Norm
Norm is Vault 32's special investigator.
with out supporting characters there are no main characters, people need to start remembering that
I saw some fans thinking that he will go to wasteland and find replacement for water chips, it would be interesting if he will go in tracks of the Vault Dweller and Chosen One
Love this character! It shows such good character growth compared to many of the other characters.
Norm was the GOAT of the series.
Would love to see Norm use his hacking skills to impersonate Bud and get himself sent out of the Vault (selected to retrieve a new water chip? With Chet backing down and joining the masses of obedient vault dwellers it's not like Norm has any reason to feel safe in the Vault anymore) in order to track down and reunite with his family, maybe by tracking their pipboys. I could see him develop the skills to be a PER/INT build type of fighter. Maybe take up trapping and ambush tactics, hack and reprogram robots to serve as his frontline companions while he develops long ranged support shooting with hunting/sniper rifles (starts with a .38 bolt-action pipe rifle and works his way up to .308 hunting rifle, maybe eventually a .50 sniper rifle when he's older and stronger). I could just picture when he finally catches up to Lucy, he's scavenged an NCR ranger set (duster, armor, and helmet worn over his vault suit, maybe with a 33 stylized on the back of the duster) while accompanied by a host of combat robots like assaultrons, mister gutsys, and sentrybots. These are my thoughts on how his character could grow to become more rounded by shedding some of his weaknesses in a believable fashion. He gets stronger as a fighter while Lucy loses her naivety.
I hope we get more Norm in season 2. He's kind of set up in a way that he may or may not disappear for awhile.
High INT character. Norm says he's not brave enough, but ends up being the most brave one in the vault.
Finding out he's actually two years older than Ella Purnell made think on the characters' ages. Maximus' is the easiest to formulate since we know he was a kid when Shady Sands got nuked, but there is no way he's the same age as his actor's 35; going by his younger version's actor, he's probably somewhere around late 20s. Lucy and Norm are confirmed to have been born before the nuking, so probably a little younger than Maximus.
Hope he becomes more prominent on Season 2 , his character is the only vault dweller with grey matter that is not from Vault 31
“Can’t we ever have, like, a salad? -Nacho Libre (2006)
Small frame perk right here!
Damn forgot about Kings of Summer! Thats a great flick
All the promotional material and news interviews leave Norm and the actor out. He is literslly my second favorite character, right under Cooper and right above Lucy. Norm is awesome and I sincerely hope not to lose him in the next season.
#Normisgreat
Because of his character, I think Fallout are split into 2 main arc: The surface arc and The 30's Vault arc.
Rico freaking suave
Yes Norm is my Favorite Character.
Norm is the only one who cares about lore. Goated character
I really hope Norm does not go into cryo. It's his turn to fight like hell for his family and I think he will surprise us very much. Maybe he is not wasteland material but he sure as hell is going to fight for his place and the future of the vault.
I hope Norm is able to leave the vault and become a badass ranger/scout type wastelander or he could even be a medic. I really think they’re eventually going to make him leave and start doing stuff on the outside and I really wonder where it’s gunna go.
i'm curious what Norm thinks of his dad because he only finds out his dad is from Vault 31 and that they were from Pre-War. He doesn't find out Henry nuked Shady Sands and had a hand in killing his mother
Amazint actor
loved his story a more reserved 4th protagonist
Wish Norm and Chet did more press.
Dude this guy surprised me
I DID NOT GIVE A DAMN about his character because I remember him from Rico
So I was like whatever
But this guy Damn
Really went from character in the Back to someone I was keeping an eye on
Catching subliminal Words from Overseer and giving us a way of seeing how someone who would go thru the information like a REAL character in Fallout
Terminals wondering into vaults
Felt natural
Good character, cool, cowardly but getting somewhere
Norm the honorary 4th.
Rico!
Out of 4 characters, i invest in most lols
I loved the part you showed at the end. Don’t you go in there! Don’t read anything in there! xD.
So weird that Konstantin Kisin was in the show 🤣
Bout the only character i like. The mains are cool . But nah give it up for Norm.
How come we can’t ever have just like a salad.
Get rid of Maximus and let Norm shine!
NORMCORE
I'm pretty sure Moises was raised in a cult. And has grown up to be a weirdo himself.
I have a weird feeling he is going to have a wild overall arc.. I don’t see him as a the “bad guy” but he has too much of his father in him. I also don’t blame him for wanting to kill the raiders, but I think he will become conditioned to be ruthless and only prioritize the vault dwellers. Until the last season when he finally reunites with his sister and realizes how far he has fallen. Then he sacrifices himself for the commonwealth. 🤷♂️.
I grew up watching Hannah Montana and one of my favorite characters was Rico. Seeing Moises in the first ep made me so freakin excited, i yelled out "IT'S RICO!!!"
Kept forgetting his character name in fallout so i just kept saying "Rico" when he was on screen LOL
