Remember, try finding them on depop/poshmark first if it is a fast fashion brand by searching for example “green princess polly dress” instead of buying new! Hello Gigi! I just wanted to remind you of how beautiful you are, and I can completely understand how you feel about body image. I personally believe that everyone has these moments of self doubt, however we shouldn’t indulge in them, block them out and get on with the things we want to do that we’d otherwise be stopping ourselves from doing. Totally relate to the ending, I get insecure dressing up in hot weather though because of sweat. I sweat so easily and bad that I just stick to black cuz I don’t wanna walk around with sweat stains
Yes omg me tooo. Im sending u a big hug, u deserve to be comfortable bb!!
My best tip is 1. check materials. Look for cotton, linen and other natural materials that breathe! Polyester doesn’t breathe and can get really hot. 2. Avoid pit stains by wearing flowy or over sized pieces with larger holes for the arms. Like over sizes button ups or shirt dresses with wide sleeves, a dress or blouse with baloon sleeves or over sized t-shirts. Over sized/flowy/loose fitting is also great to let air blow through. Best of luck to you in the heat ❤️🔥

I'm always surprised by the people saying that they don't know how to dress up in summer. I hate layering in winter so im sooo happy when summer comes.
same! i live in a country where we experience the 4 season every day since the weather fluctuates so much and it’s always such a headache to think about something comfortable and functional for colder days/hours
i loveee layering and i don’t know how to not layer 😭 summer is definitely the hardest season to dress in for me… but i also live in california where most of the year it’s a comfortable temperature and perfect for layering things

I always find myself more comfortable with an outfit if I layer on that’s why I usually hate summer style because if you layer you’re gonna sweat all the time. This video is perfect for me!

OMG don’t even get me started on how uncomfortable jean and polyester material is in the heat, it’s a nightmare to wear them in the summer. I’m in love with your maxi skirt, it’s so flowy and lightweight and it just proves that vintage pieces can be just as cute as fast fashion, if not more. We should all aim to shop more sustainably!

I literally always struggle so much in finding pieces that are lightweight enough to wear in summer and have versatility and this video honestly helped sooo much with that! I love how you wear the same pieces in different ways giving yourself more freedom because I often trap myself in a box of how things "should" be worn or pieces that "have" to be worn together (like the exact same shorts and shirt together every single time I wear one or the other). It sometimes makes it really hard for me to wear things I actually enjoy and feel comfortable in, so thank you so so much for this video Gigi, you give me so much inspiration and I look up to you so much :) Also, the last lil bit of positive encouragement was so wholesome and genuine and I definitely needed it
