- The "Angelus Prayer" is a traditional prayer commemorating the Incarnation of Jesus Christ through the Virgin Mary. Recited morning, noon, and evening, the Angelus calls to mind Mary’s openness to God’s plan and Christ’s saving mission. Through three recitations of the Hail Mary aligned with verses from the Annunciation and Nativity, with this pray we re-consecrate our day to God, seeking the grace to model Mary’s faithful “yes” to His will.

V/. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
R/. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done unto me according to thy word.
Hail Mary …
V. And the Word was made Flesh.
R. And dwelt among us.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Faith is all I have left. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. Jesus give me guidance please. The devil is attacking me. These past three years have been difficult on me. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them. People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and still battling lupus. Give me strength Lord as I constantly struggle to pay bills and constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. BUT no matter what I face I will KEEP FAITH. Even though the devil wants me to give up. I will not! Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.

I’ve never prayed this prayer before. Grew up Protestant, but within this last month or so I have felt this internal pulling by the Holy Spirit to understand Catholicism more as He suggested I was missing out on a huge part of the faith. Following Bishop Barren and Fr. Ripperger online, they both suggest following the Angelus prayer at 6, noon, and 6. I looked this up to pray along and the entire time, my body was lighting up with shivers and goosebumps. There is something so alive in this, something so alive in Mary the mother of God, I am so blown back by the Spirit’s leading 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

@@TheCatholicCrusade Thank you for your prayers! I’ve just started going through the Catechism and have looked into going to mass near me. Honestly, though, I’m as nervous as I am excited. But, I am trusting that God will help grow my courage as He pulls me closer to Him and to His people. And Mary. I don’t quite know how to pray to her yet on my own, but I’m trying to be mindful of her presence ❤️🙏🏻
