World Environment Day - Climate Walk || UN SDSN Conference of Youth on Environment and Climate 2023

DunsinCrafts took part in the UN SDSN COYEC ‘23 campaign to “Beat Plastic Pollution”!
Today, I joined a Climate Walk to raise awareness about the harmful impact of plastic pollution and the urgent need to reduce our use of single-use plastics.
Now, I must admit that my expertise is more focused on sustainable fashion waste, but I strongly believe that addressing plastic pollution is crucial for the well-being of our planet.
We all gathered at Mokola, right in front of the Total Grace filling station, and from there, we set off on an important journey to Dugbe Market Community. Along the way, we engaged with market women, bike-men and passersby, spreading knowledge about the damaging effects of plastic pollution.
Walking alongside other passionate individuals who care about our environment was truly inspiring. Together, we raised our voices and advocated for a world that is free from the grip of plastic pollution.
I hope that I’ve made a small but meaningful contribution to raising awareness and initiating change. Our planet deserves better, and it’s our responsibility to protect it for the sake of future generations.
