Back in the late 80's there was a mega insurance scam that had quack shrinks getting paid bank to institutionalize pretty much any kid that was a skateboarder or into punk or metal. These quacks would convince the parents that the kids were worshiping Satan, and so off they went to the nut house to be doped up and routinely beaten until that magical day when their parents insurance ran out and they were all of a sudden "cured". My first introduction to Metallica thanks to a video game called Test Drive Offroad Wide Open. It had the song Fuel on it. I was a kid. Been listening to them since.
Эта мелодия самая лучшая в творчестве группы Metallica. Я, на ряду с композициями группы MANOWAR, слушаю её в автомобиле, когда еду на далёкое расстояние.
I am spechless…. I just don’t have any words left….. “METALLICA, THANK YOU SOO FUCKING MUCH FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO THE ENTIRE WORLDD, YOU WROTE ONE OF THE THE BEST SONGSS EVER AND (in my taste) THE BEST METAL ALBUM OF ALL TIME METAL NEVER DIES METALLICA NEVER DIES METALLICA WROTE ON OF THE BEST SONGS IN THE ENTIRE MUSIC HISTORTY AND IMMA GOING TO BE METALHEAD FOREVER
I went through a depressive hopeless emotional time when I was around 8 or 9. at that time my bipolar, depression, ADHD, anxiety all started ambushing me and really showing at that age out of no where. it was hell and I was going crazy. the riffs at the beginning of this song was so dreamy to me in that time. it was the theme melody to my life almost. tho I'm glad I found ways to cope, I'm super nostalgic when I hear it and other songs I listened to at that time. sounds strange but God I wanna go back. the FTW feel was raw as fuck. hard to explain.
Nolan Kavanagh Damn right. Schizophrenic since 11, been treated for all sorts of shit but fuck it, never stopped me from enjoying life. “Finding ways to cope” yeah whatever, fucking kids just gotta roll with the punches.

Man, i love this song. Is it weird that I'm 13 and my favorite band is Metallica and my favorite song is One from ...And Justice for All (correct me if I'm wrong)
Mari Pellegrino yea my old step dad got me into Metallica with Of Wolf and Man from the Black Album. And I've loved metallica since. I know the lyrics to every song in the Black Album and Master of Puppets albums
Purple Jolteon How's that weird? Just not mainstream. I got into Metallica at kinda same age as you cuz my dad listened mainly to them. And Justice is definitely their best album. I barely listen to metallica nowadays - but a lot of bands i listen to now claim Metallica as their biggest influence, although some make softer and some way heavier music.
+Mari Pellegrino Fucking love Mastodon. Blood and Thunder \m/! I'm 17 btw, been into metal ever since I was a little kid, my dad played alot of the stuff like Metallica in the car.
I love this song so much... one great memory was my 18th birthday... November 27, 1990... I had a really great day and as I was going to bed, I turned the radio on (to set my alarm) It was just before midnight and Sanitarium came on.... a perfect end to a perfect day... 🤟🏻
I'm 15 and I LOVE all of the bands like...Metalicca, Def Leopard, Van Hallen, Lynard Skynard, ACDC, ETC...Songs like these can really speak to you. Unlike "Rap" that shouldn't even be classified as music..
Sad how you classify rap as the ones on the radio today, which is what I assume you think. You haven't discovered below the surface today. twenty one pilots, Eminem, now that's rap. Drake is what I call bullshit. Now maybe try listening below the surface of todays rap, maybe you'll like it.
wow everyone is so hostile but yes rap is shit but thats what some people like idfk how but just bc people that listen to rap hear metal and say thats that scremo shit right and do u really want to go down to that level they dont understand what metal singers r saying just like i cant understand most rap

In case nobody knows, Helena by The Misfits has a part that sounds like this song.
Ethan Moulton I knew I heard it in there somewhere, glad someone else caught it too
Great song one of my favourite. thanks for the lyrics
I usually play songs like this when my anger gets out of control and then it calms me down
that beginning is pure gold
My first introduction to Metallica thanks to a video game called Test Drive Offroad Wide Open. It had the song Fuel on it. I was a kid. Been listening to them since.
Me too, no joke
This record is a masterpiece, its my childhood record, this song brought me emotion
Try this one in 2020, I bet you are thinking like this!
Definitely one of my all time favorite songs , can’t count how many times I’ve just put in my headphones and listened to this
Amazing band amazing song. Watch Paradise Lost and this song will get muuuuuuuuuch deeper for you
thats where i heard it.. course its played during the gruesome crime scene footage uhhhgh
Эта мелодия самая лучшая в творчестве группы Metallica.
Я, на ряду с композициями группы MANOWAR, слушаю её в автомобиле, когда еду на далёкое расстояние.
I am spechless…. I just don’t have any words left….. “METALLICA, THANK YOU SOO FUCKING MUCH FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO THE ENTIRE WORLDD, YOU WROTE ONE OF THE THE BEST SONGSS EVER AND (in my taste) THE BEST METAL ALBUM OF ALL TIME
METAL NEVER DIES
METALLICA NEVER DIES
METALLICA WROTE ON OF THE BEST SONGS IN THE ENTIRE MUSIC HISTORTY
AND IMMA GOING TO BE METALHEAD FOREVER
I still get chills when I hear this song but it calms me down
MASTER, MASTER................. oops wrong video
WHERES THE DREAMS THAT I’VE BEEN AFTER
This song is so underrated, it has a different appeal
Just got a job in a hospital psych unit this was the first song I played. My new theme.
Awesome my favorite band , although most won't understand what I feel inside when I hear your songs yet it's y I'm still me thanks
I went through a depressive hopeless emotional time when I was around 8 or 9. at that time my bipolar, depression, ADHD, anxiety all started ambushing me and really showing at that age out of no where. it was hell and I was going crazy. the riffs at the beginning of this song was so dreamy to me in that time. it was the theme melody to my life almost. tho I'm glad I found ways to cope, I'm super nostalgic when I hear it and other songs I listened to at that time. sounds strange but God I wanna go back. the FTW feel was raw as fuck. hard to explain.
can so relate to this
Nolan Kavanagh Damn right. Schizophrenic since 11, been treated for all sorts of shit but fuck it, never stopped me from enjoying life. “Finding ways to cope” yeah whatever, fucking kids just gotta roll with the punches.
Very bad for me +qqqqqq quote
I've been digging hard music all of my early teens and before that I grew up listening to Grateful Dead and southern rock and my little brother Matthew took me on a blunt ride and Metallica was playing!! Instant fan
My favorite song by then is for whom the bell tolls
This is my favorite song by them by how the lyrics are and I always feel like I am trapped in my brain with all of the issues I have. Music has always been my escape from the world we live in and it calms me down.
I absolutely love Metalica and if you do to give a thumbs up
One of the greatest Metallica songs ever
My head is like a sanatorium for most of everyday. How did I get like this.....
This is a PERFECT song! I have it on my list of songs to play at my funeral.
This song and this band are fukin amazing
for sum reason i woke up with this lyric in my head 'sleep my friend n u will see,the dream is my reality'...maybe cuz ths song is so fitting for these quarantine days or cud be cuz its this insanely amazin music sendin me signals cuz i hvnt been bangin my head for a while now, these early thrash masterpieces are so attached to our souls since bein kids tht it sends us signals whenever its needed...next up seasons of the abyss by slayer
2000 to the hospital
Thank you for posting this awesome song!
Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich make a great team
Nicky Watkins fuck yeah
No, it’s Kirk hamster
Lars couldn't even do the double bass for One..he had to be taught so he could preform the song live..that's not you on the album version..didn't you notice there was less snare drum lol
@@gromwell8781 umm, Lars is the drummer
Nicky Watkins when they don't experiment on each-other is kinda ok but when do experiment is to throw up
I LOVE THIS REFLECTIVE ripple in a pond semi haunted sounding song I absolutely adore & love this song WHAT A TRACK
Only heard for the 1st time otherday & I love Metallica what a track
For the good memories
A want to salute all my friends in portland England and Bristol hope u get out soon respekte from Albania 2022 stay strong 💪 freedom is just around the corner
Man, i love this song. Is it weird that I'm 13 and my favorite band is Metallica and my favorite song is One from
...And Justice for All (correct me if I'm wrong)
+Purple Jolteon that just means your parents raised you right! rock on!
+Purple Jolteon im 13 too and has listen to metallica since i was 7
This is one of my favorite songs!
It is awesome!
I love this song so much... one great memory was my 18th birthday... November 27, 1990... I had a really great day and as I was going to bed, I turned the radio on (to set my alarm) It was just before midnight and Sanitarium came on.... a perfect end to a perfect day... 🤟🏻
Happy birthday (it’s still the 27th for me)
@@PWBS-yc6xi Thank you....sometimes I feel like it’s 1990 still.... some for awesome memories, some not so pleasant.... hope yours are the prior...
this band was really good at one time
Thank you
1986.....2 milestones in metal Slayer-'reign in blood' and this masterpiece...still can't understand how weak they became later on
move on
Im affected by bullshitzophrenia and this really speaks to me
ShizukaShizuka! Lol. Bullshitzophrenia. I am sorry you have shitzophrenia
Man, how could I forget about this one?
I'm 15 and I LOVE all of the bands like...Metalicca, Def Leopard, Van Hallen, Lynard Skynard, ACDC, ETC...Songs like these can really speak to you. Unlike "Rap" that shouldn't even be classified as music..
***** I don't know either of you, I don't know why you two say I suck ass. Leave me alone.
Sad how you classify rap as the ones on the radio today, which is what I assume you think. You haven't discovered below the surface today. twenty one pilots, Eminem, now that's rap. Drake is what I call bullshit. Now maybe try listening below the surface of todays rap, maybe you'll like it.
*Metallica, Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd. But I'm glad you listening to good music :D Nowadays popular music is a piece of crap.
Nobody gives a shit
wow everyone is so hostile but yes rap is shit but thats what some people like idfk how but just bc people that listen to rap hear metal and say thats that scremo shit right and do u really want to go down to that level they dont understand what metal singers r saying just like i cant understand most rap
I listened to this track which defined my life at the time. Locked doors. Windows barred. And in particular: scarred.
I'm not even born and I listen to Metallica and hate rap or pop.
Even in the womb you know the difference between what's good and what's garbage. If only more baby's on the way could follow your example.
Same
Oh shit, here we go again
RAP AND POP SUCK GIGANTIC BALLS
this idea is valid only if your have 13 or less
my favorite Metallica song right here
15 years old
Epic to see newer generations listening to these oldies but goodies
The masterpiece is so actual!
