The epiphany I had when Wesley said “your chances of eagle go way up” was just massive, wow, ever thought of it like that.

Hearing Wesley explain to Micah why he didn’t like the play on the hole 14 and how hitting driver increases his chance of eagle. Then hearing Tigs response.. makes me question if Micah has that dawg in him.. 🤷‍♂️ he has the game! Which is why it’s frustrating, but not the mental fortitude to be able to convince himself to try be great in the midst of being average.. 😢

Don't delude yourself. He does not have the game. This sport is a scoring one. Micah does not score consistently, or at least, not at the required level. He is miles away from having the level to play on Tour.

George,.... just try turning your left foot slightly towards the target line when you are trying to hit your fade.. It will allow you to get your left hip out of the way through the impact zone and fade swing path. Having your feet squarely aligned seems to stop you rotating across the ball and thus closing the face creating the pull as you reach the firm left side of your swing.
Nothing major - just a simple thing that could make a big difference... I only stand perfectly square with my feet when I putt or want to hit a straight ball.. I slightly close my stance for a draw and open it for the fade... This also creates some muscle memory for your swing planes as they can be easily practiced for each shape, making it harder to double cross yourself also....

The 2023 Pga , one of our 4 majors will be forever remembered for getting to see the mentally strong Brooks Koepka showing how much better he could be when zoned in and focused on a major victory . As time goes on we will remember a PGA Club Professional who beat all but 14 of the worlds best touring professionals . He swished the net with a 7 iron on par 3 getting a hole in one then got up and down on 18 from a position I can't even explain . This guy made history today and did a wonderful thing .
