Ive had great success with sliding rigs when shore based. Same principal having a metre trace half a metre off the bottom. I cast out a sacrifical sinker, wind onto a snag, then send out the slider.
@@Kearnesy yeah i use it under captain cook bridge. Its snaggy with plenty of current so the technique is good option and has accounted for about 10+threadies. I have a tinny now so my sliders are redundant
Hi Wayne, when you fish the Bris Rv for Threadies or jew, when you anchor up, were you using your sand anchor or reef pick ? before spot lock. Cheers Chris
When using suicide pattern hooks you should snell the line onto the hook otherwise it affects the hookup rate. Otherwise use straight eye patterns like mustard big guns etc.

I’ve eaten plenty. I only fish at the mouth of the Brisbane.
herring have been harder to get in brissy river, they wrecked the poo shoot with chemical
