53:25 Since a lot of people still don't know; The whole thing about Hu Tao's rap being trash in EN was out of the VA's control, the people who messed up were the people syncing her recording alongside the beat, someone edited the rap and fixed the syncing and it sounded way better. The VA also has a decent experience in singing, for reference she did a cover of one of Hu Tao's fan-made songs (The one uploaded by Kurattes)
@kokopium8003 This might because when the animation was produced with CN dub, there was not enough time left for the English localization team to adjust this kind of problem. Such issues happen from time to time, but it has indeed been improved a lot. It's just that I think they still lack the flexibility to handle this adjustment. As a player who plays in CN, I sometimes have to endure the awkward gaps left between dialogues that are obviously for localization considerations. I hope they can really improve this problem.But I'm really happy that they significantly improved this and made leaps in narrative genre, content, and fun in HSR and ZZZ, which proves that they are still a company that is constantly improving.

Aside from Venti and Zhongli who have decided to live like normal humans, earning a daily wage, Ei and Nahida are still the ruling authority of their respective nations. They basically have all the resources of their nation at their fingertips including mora. And Neuvilette would sooner dissolve than let Furina live a life that is less than comfy after all her sacrifices so no, she isn’t broke either.
Furina also has personal funds from acting and probably used the funds from the mollusk tasks for her prophecy preparations 😅 (the latter is not her personal bank though so it probably doesn't count but it did when she was an archon as she's shocked neu knew about it)

@@meenatolia6494 Mihoyo does not release stories and events at the request of players, they have everything planned in advance the famous unfunny joke about Eula not having a banner ended in 3.8 not because of the players but because Mihoyo had already decided to make the summer event with a focus on her thus resulting in her having a rerun because the banners return when the characters are relevant in the current version (with the exception of the archons who always have reruns every major version with the new nation)
I understand you want to communicate with your chat as much as possible, but I wish you would have paid more attention to the videos. It might come as surprise to you but 3 people in my circle who play in Jp dub consider him annoying and edgy while 2 who play in English dub treat him as their child. I will agree the English voice sounds off at first but Idk how and when it happened but his voice sort of feels like it sounds that way because his emotions are stuck inside and he is going through so much. It happens when you are just suffering so much that your voice comes off differently. Trying to get it out but can't because too much going on. His English voice has actually gone through so much change over the years. It was very harsh at first but every time he makes an appearance it keeps getting calmer and calmer.

I would agree that hoyo has planned and possibly finished the game's main plot before they even released the game. The fact that Mona and Childe appeared on the story of Fontaine, how some of the 1.0 lore is still relevant to this day, goes to show that everything has already been planned

If he were to watch the animated trailer that followed, then I'd be more inclined to agree, but the character trailer alone is just a showcase of his character skills (as most character trailers). It's no more telling than Nahida's character trailer, which (I'd argue) is more telling.
I mean, she is kinda overrated tbh. I like her but she's got SO much attention and fanart despite being kinda underwhelming as a character and not even getting that much screentime. Though I will agree his reasoning is terrible, he's judging her based on some "fanart" depicting her as FAR thicker than she was ever advertised to be and that's not even a fair expectation to have about her.
@@sneakretster Maybe its my personal bias but i dont think she's underwhelming. She does well in both single target and multi-target. She works nicely in freeze comp and does big dmg in melt comps. You can use her as main dps or sub dps. You can also use her as a battery, has no energy issues. (Hell, even Amber is more fun to play and Amber is clunky and has a poorly designed kit) By underwhelming I meant that, as a character, she's just kinda bland and overworked and she's not super interesting.
If you really want to play honkai impact 3rd (which would be awesome), I highly recommend NOT watching the animated shorts. People will definitely beg you to react to them, but don't. They are not trailers or extra content, they are actual ingame cutscenes which you will see in game during important moments of the story. Please don't spoil yourself.
I saw some lost lore players in the chat when Ningguang appeared saying that Keqing works for Ningguang and that's false. They are both Liyue Qixing's and it's stated that the Qixing don't have a head leader and thus they all have the same rank/authority. The seven of them are equals but in charge of their own respective work areas. And sometimes their work intertwine with one anothers and thus they collaborate with each other. So in reality, Ning is not the boss of Keqing. That's a misconception of some people who still haven't understood how Liyue's hierarchy works.
Every time i hear people complain that Ningguang was a 4 star, i remind them that if she was a 5 star, they probably wouldn't have her. Although, she could have been a standard 5 star, she would have ruined so many pities..... She could have been QiQi!

She just feels like she deserved better to a lot of people, and I agree wholeheartedly. It's even worse seeing Keqing as a 5 star despite being in a lower rank of the Qixing 🗿

Honestly, the fact that the devs already had planned the story of Honkai Impacr 3rd and Genshin (Sumeru and Fontaine) when they were on university ircc it's just amazing, i'd love to see what they come up with in a couple of years.
Gigguk does not seem to me like the type who would care about genshin spoilers, why even stream this if there was "spoiler risk" just stop the stream when he reaches where he is.
As a Ganyu main I would like to express my opinion. The proportions of Ganyu's body in the official art looks nowhere near in the game. This is probably due to the limitations of the characters having the same type of body models in the game. I bet Garnt's favourites are all the tall Genshin girls characters which is just way more thicker by default. About the story quest, I would say they should make the second act for Ganyu so they can flesh out more of the awesome parts of the past Ganyu according to the Archon War lore. I do think that Mihoyo did her dirty in her story quest since there is basically no cutcenes (cutscenes in the real world btw not in the stories that cloud retainer narrated) and ofc the plot. The plot isn't that bad but it wasn't really executed as well as they could. Her designs I would say is pretty good already, honestly top 10 for me. And yes I do believe it could be more enhanced and more detailed (Mihoyo please give her a 5 star skin in the lantern rite).
I don't hate Ganyu, but she has like no interesting appearances in the game. People disliking her now is completely validated in my opinion, especially when you consider her initial popularity. Hoyoverse has really mismanaged her character in the story. That being said, I certainly wouldn't mind an actual character arc for her in an event some time. I kind of wish we got more events like the summer event with Fischel, Mona, and Kazuha which actually dived into the characters on a deeper level Persona mind palace style, rather than just solving some NPC's problems. The chasm event with Itto, Kuki, and Xiao was pretty good too as I recall. Also, from what I've seen, I'm pretty sure some of Garnt's favorites of the characters he has are Yoimiya, Keqing, and Yelan.

Aside from Venti and Zhongli who have decided to live like normal humans, earning a daily wage, Ei and Nahida are still the ruling authority of their respective nations. They basically have all the resources of their nation at their fingertips including mora. And Neuvilette would sooner dissolve than let Furina live a life that is less than comfy after all her sacrifices so no, she isn’t broke either.
Furina also has personal funds from acting and probably used the funds from the mollusk tasks for her prophecy preparations 😅 (the latter is not her personal bank though so it probably doesn't count but it did when she was an archon as she's shocked neu knew about it)

It might come as surprise to you but 3 people in my circle who play in Jp dub consider him annoying and edgy while 2 who play in English dub treat him as their child. I will agree the English voice sounds off at first but Idk how and when it happened but his voice sort of feels like it sounds that way because his emotions are stuck inside and he is going through so much. It happens when you are just suffering so much that your voice comes off differently. Trying to get it out but can't because too much going on. His English voice has actually gone through so much change over the years. It was very harsh at first but every time he makes an appearance it keeps getting calmer and calmer.

They treat him the way I haven't seen the people in my circle who play in Jp dub do. I would agree that hoyo has planned and possibly finished the game's main plot before they even released the game. The fact that Mona and Childe appeared on the story of Fontaine, how some of the 1.0 lore is still relevant to this day, goes to show that everything has already been planned

The trailer simply showcases Scara fighting a few Fatui who annoy him/get in his way. If he were to watch the animated trailer that followed, then I'd be more inclined to agree, but the character trailer alone is just a showcase of his character skills (as most character trailers).
It's no more telling than Nahida's character trailer, which (I'd argue) is more telling.
The fact that you have to pause in the middle of every single trailers to make a hot take does make this so smooth.

She does well in both single target and multi-target. She works nicely in freeze comp and does big dmg in melt comps. You can use her as main dps or sub dps. You can also use her as a battery, has no energy issues.

If you really want to play honkai impact 3rd (which would be awesome), I highly recommend NOT watching the animated shorts. People will definitely beg you to react to them, but don't. They are not trailers or extra content, they are actual ingame cutscenes which you will see in game during important moments of the story. Please don't spoil yourself.

I saw some lost lore players in the chat when Ningguang appeared saying that Keqing works for Ningguang and that's false. They are both Liyue Qixing's and it's stated that the Qixing don't have a head leader and thus they all have the same rank/authority. The seven of them are equals but in charge of their own respective work areas. And sometimes their work intertwine with one anothers and thus they collaborate with each other. So in reality, Ning is not the boss of Keqing. That's a misconception of some people who still haven't understood how Liyue's hierarchy works.
Every time i hear people complain that Ningguang was a 4 star, i remind them that if she was a 5 star, they probably wouldn't have her. Although, she could have been a standard 5 star, she would have ruined so many pities..... She could have been QiQi!

She just feels like she deserved better to a lot of people, and I agree wholeheartedly. It's even worse seeing Keqing as a 5 star despite being in a lower rank of the Qixing 🗿

As a Ganyu main I would like to express my opinion. The proportions of Ganyu's body in the official art looks nowhere near in the game. This is probably due to the limitations of the characters having the same type of body models in the game. I bet Garnt's favourites are all the tall Genshin girls characters which is just way more thicker by default. About the story quest, I would say they should make the second act for Ganyu so they can flesh out more of the awesome parts of the past Ganyu according to the Archon War lore. I do think that Mihoyo did her dirty in her story quest since there is basically no cutcenes (cutscenes in the real world btw not in the stories that cloud retainer narrated) and ofc the plot. The plot isn't that bad but it wasn't really executed as well as they could. Her designs I would say is pretty good already, honestly top 10 for me. And yes I do believe it could be more enhanced and more detailed (Mihoyo please give her a 5 star skin in the lantern rite).
I don't hate Ganyu, but she has like no interesting appearances in the game. People disliking her now is completely validated in my opinion, especially when you consider her initial popularity. Hoyoverse has really mismanaged her character in the story. That being said, I certainly wouldn't mind an actual character arc for her in an event some time. I kind of wish we got more events like the summer event with Fischel, Mona, and Kazuha which actually dived into the characters on a deeper level Persona mind palace style, rather than just solving some NPC's problems. The chasm event with Itto, Kuki, and Xiao was pretty good too as I recall.
Also, from what I've seen, I'm pretty sure some of Garnt's favorites of the characters he has are Yoimiya, Keqing, and Yelan.
