Adam, thanks for this episode of SNS it was a little bitter sweet. I'm 64 and just trying to follow up on my desire to learn metal work that was germinated in 1970 when I worked for J&L Steel. Shortly after I got my gratings from Uncle Sam and after 7 years in the US NAVY, and a 30+ year career as a software engineer I just bought a SB 10K. You have been a great source of learning for me and I hope you are able to continue making videos.

Adam, great, great 2 video series! Really nice to hear about your dad and grandfather and there influence on you and your carrier! I know that they would be very proud of you and what you have become, especially of your influence on teaching others thru your videos, kind of the way they taught you, real life experiences! As you so aptly stated, sometimes we learn more from our mistakes, but sometimes we learn more from just watching someone do something, rather then having them try to just explain it to you, and I think that's what a lot of people get out of your videos! Great job, Adam!

Just now got around to parts 1 and 2 of sns 100. I could tell there is a lot of pride in being able to work with grandfather and father. My grandfather was in construction as well as my father. I worked for my dad but never really got to work with him. He was a bricklayer and I followed after him as what some would call a "meticulous arranger of artistic burnt clay products"...a bricklayer, too! My son was in training under me as a bricklayer but after back problems that my dad and brother and I have, he decided to switch trades to the culinary arts, especially baking. He does well at that and it is somewhat easier on the back. You mentioned your grandfather's faith and I believe this is most important as all other things in life are temporary but our faith in God is eternal. It doesn't keep us from being machinists, bricklayers or bakers but simply gives us more incentives to do our best. Keep up the good work and videos, thanks, Greg.
