As someone who competes in TTG, it's changed into more physical endurance/lifting and accuracy shooting. He might have a tough time against LVPO 8 or 10x scopes trying to group a 3x3x3'' triangle four times with rifle.
The fact that your footwear of choice are not Merrell Moab V2s mid or lows is we’re I’ll be drawing the line good sir, let’s let bygones be bygones and good luck at your competition you’re going to do great!
Love my Mystic X - have the same setup now with the KeyMo adapter and been surprised none of the multiple thread connections loosened in use (granted - not very hard use). But yeah she is a big heavy girl, and significantly moreso with the adapter. Hope to get a sierra 5 at some point for 5.56
Rogue Fitness makes 7.5lb plates. They're not ballistic plates but are really nice for something like The Tactical Games. That's what I run in my Javlin Concepts plate carrier.
I will see you in Arizona! I'm in the Tactical Division it's my 1st time competing. i know you said it has changed but do you have any more advice for newbies? do you wear a Camelback ? I'm staying on the Campgrounds since it'll be easier to make it to the 0600 safety brief
Tactical games have increased the weights to insane levels that competitors will start to hurt their self also they don’t enforce security measures with loaded and unloaded guns…
Yes and No. Weights have increased a little (Elite more so to Intermediate and Tactical Divisions), new safety rules have enforced bunkering rifle vs. slung on stages. Every person has an RSO watching clearing procedures and counting rounds. As someone who competes often at TTG and other events, TTG has a good firing line discipline and clearing procedure in place.
