A lounge singer, appears at a local club singing a god-awful tune to a life-sized mannequin! - 'Wherever you may find yourself / I wish you were dead! / My own robot / My own, my lady...'
Zombies, necrophilia, and even autopsy footage all bubble to the surface of The Swamp of the Ravens, a sick little horror film so obscure, no one knew it was lost! Though the specifics of where we found a single 35mm Techniscope print suggest that Swamp did, in fact, receive an extremely brief, extremely limited theatrical release in 1974, it's a title that has nevertheless remained one big question mark for almost three decades. Of course, after finally seeing it, one's head spins with question marks, but that's also the peculiar charm of this rather twisted Spanish-U.S. co-production.

I think I've mentioned this before on videos containing this song, but I want a karaoke version of this.
It really is kind of catchy and haunting. Like an obscure Engelbert Hunperdinck song.

The ones that weren't actually cut and appear at 0:49?

I now know what the face of madness looks like
A fine and thoughtful lyric.
This sounds like Frankie Valli singing a Pixies song.
This song bleeds false cynicism. It's probably better in the original Spanish or Portuguese or whatever. It's like a lounge singer trying to reconnect with his Leonard Cohen-fan roots.
Actually with the kind of shit that guy does in the movie the cynicism is real. The guy was actually quite psychotic and narcissistic. He was pretty far gone.
YOU bleed of false cynicism !
My new favorite song! Not...
