At 2:19 it says Lilibet was baptised in the "Episcopalian" church which is an incorrect use of the word Episcopalian. The church is the "Episcopal" church and the members are "Episcopalian". So if an article is going to be all about the incorrect title of a person (the Bishop, in this case) please be sure the correct titles of the church and it's members are used. Also, the Episcopal church and the Anglican church are vastly different, even if they are grouped together in name. Can't attend a christening for a kid that doesn't exist.
In the United States a Baptismal Certificate is only used as a form of ID for certain things when there is no OFFICIAL birth certificate on record with the health department. It certainly does NOT confer a title on someone nor can it be used as ID except in limited circumstances. My cousin’s child was born in a remote village in the Philippines. She was born at home by a family member…….no birth certificate……Since the Philippines is predominately Roman Catholic, the embassy in Manila accepted her Baptismal certificate endorsed by a missionary Catholic priest to get her a passport to come to the USA with her father. People here are discouraged from using names that are titles on their birth certificates. We use names like Prince, Princess, Duke, Duchess, etc FOR OUR DOGS😉

@@novamarie2162 not necessarily. Depends on the immigration laws for that country. Having a parent from that country does not immediately confer citizenship for the kids. Although, since Harry is royalty, it might be different for the kids. Also, the prince and princess titles are not automatically given to grandkids. The king or queen has to be the one to give those titles to the children. As far as I know, when the queen was alive, she refused to give Meghan's kids any titles, and King Charles hasn't given them titles either.

She had a Jewish wedding, she went many years to a Catholic school , which means she had to learn about the church, then she joins the Church of England and now ( apparently) she and Harry bring in an Episcopalian Minister for Lilibet's baptism. I agree, Sandra. As a Lutheran, I went to Catholic high School for one year. Long story. Anyway, back in 68, we had religion classes everyday and we did learn about the church.

They obviously waited to get her christened once the Queen passed so that they can use the title. All other royal babies got christened at only a few months old. These two would’ve probably christened her straight after her majesty passed but probably didn’t want to look that despo (but obviously are) and waited exactly six months and 1 week, if you go by the weeks, since HM passed to christen Lilibet as a princess. thankfully Harry and the whole tribe of his - real people or otherwise are no longer SPARE. i have as much chance of becoming King as Harry. ever since William became a father, Harry became redundant as far as succession concerned. maybe 200 years ago it might have meant something, when infants often did not survive into adulthood - and you had King George III die to be succeeded by his son George - who left no heir - and then William the "spare" of the time - who also had no children. When he died it was his niece, Victoria , who was daughter of another brother who had died some years before. William has 2 sons and a daughter. and excellent medical care. Harry and his dubious "children" are extras of no consequence. .

Baptisms also do NOT take place at home in the Episcopal or Catholic churches. I have had nieces and nephews baptized in private ceremonies AT church.
I understand from a friend who held a Polish title that these titles are not allowed in the USA. He had to give up his title which he didn't use when he became an American citizen. How can an American child carry a foreign title? I also believe that children are usually removed from drug using parents. Am I right or wrong?

I am an Episcopalian in the US. These are the rules: "A christening must always take place in a church, so it's usually not possible to have a christening at home, in a function room or outdoors". I believe exceptions will be made in the case of highly unusual cases. This did not happen, in my opinion.

Prince Harry had to know that royal diaries are booked and filled to the time line of six months in advance.
Anyone growing up or working with the royals would know that to include royal people in any event they must ask well in advance due to tightly booked diaries.
