Historically, women have been judged harsher than men; I am not surprised that Kris hasn’t experienced nearly as much fallback from his scandal. Unfortunately, it’s the way the world is, more so, it seems Netizens in China have a lot of power - they create so much more issues for these celebrities when it really should be the law judging them. I hope both Kris and Zheng Shuang can make a comeback and put this scandal behind them. Everyone makes mistakes - the past can't be changed, we can only move forward.
1⃣️The double standard of men and women in the entertainment industry has always existed. Even if women make fewer mistakes, they are prone to more violent criticism. But this is not the only reason. The difference between her and Kris Wu is: Zheng Shuang does not have a strong team of lawyers, she has never used public relations and public opinion forces, and she has no personal connections with internal power in China. She has not signed a large company. Much work is handled by herself. However, she is indeed one of the top female stars in China--this is the key to her resentment by many entertainers (entertainment companies). The destruction of Zheng Shuang’s career will make many people profit from it. , So the news about her has been unfriendly. 2⃣️ Those companies that failed to invest want to recover some of the costs by suing Zheng Shuang, even though it’s not Zheng Shuang’s fault that the TV series cannot broadcasted (such as "Masked" and "jade love"). Zhang Heng’s friend Qin Chao said: I want Zheng Shuang to pay for the money lost by my friend. (investors in "Jade love" to recover some of the costs)--therefore, the essence of the TV show’s accusation against Zheng Shuang is to choose a scapegoat for his investment failure. They chose Zheng Shuang, the victim.
Hi! Yuki Jun… I have to say, you really put Zheng Shuang situation in perspective you break everything down to the “ T”. Zheng Shuang should hire a legal team to help her there’s way to many “ LOOPHOLES !” with her Taxes, acting contracts ( to star in a drama) and being slandered by her Ex. Double Standards? Of course she’s a women who’s being bullied no matter which way she turns. Where Kris Wu is probably just going to get his hand slapped for being naughty! There’s a difference “ Favoritism! “ it’s not What you Know🧐 It’s Who you Know 🤫🤫🤫
@@islandgirl1793 Zheng Shuang’s problem is very complicated. As an individual in the entertainment industry, she is not attached to any big company and poses a threat to competitors. Therefore, some people use public opinion all the year round to take her words out of context and slander her. This makes some ordinary people have a very bad impression of her. On this basis, a group of her ex-boyfriends planned for 3 years to design a trap to destroy her, and the slander you see now is part of the plan. I feel sick with this approach. Therefore, it is difficult for Zheng Shuang to start resisting now, because the people behind Zhang Heng are very powerful and rich.
Really? How about her illegal surrogacy, and more importantly, her attempts of abandoning her children? Would or should good lawyers help her to erase these and let her keep doing whatever she wants?
@@ijjima I just found your message--I don't know how you comprehended it, what did she do? 1⃣️She said in the recording: "This child cannot be aborted . I want to ask Zhang Heng what he really thinks. We have to be responsible for what we have done." Is this an "attempt abortion"? This is to state the facts and ask Zhang Heng to make suggestions. Let me remind you that the true context of this passage is: in the custody lawsuit in April of 🇺🇸, according to the materials submitted in the court, Zhang Heng first asked the surrogacy agency to ask about abortion. The agency replied to two people saying no, and then Zheng Shuang told Zhang Heng's parents that "abortion is impossible." 2⃣️The regulations on illegal surrogacy in China are regulations of the Ministry of Health, not laws. There is a difference between the two. In addition, it is aimed at institutions and medical staff, and individuals with surrogacy needs will not be held accountable. Therefore, the phrase "surrogacy in China is illegal" is inherently problematic. Not to mention, she performed medical surrogacy in an area where the surrogacy was legal in the United States and presented medical evidence. According to international law, this is completely legal.
I think this has nothing to do with gender and it is really obvious that the situations for both is different. Shuang's case had more evidence really strong evidence against her from the get-go, and the surrogacy and abandonment case is true. surrogacy is illegal in china that was more than enough to get her banned. While Kris has little to no real evidence against him, so I think it is smart business-wise to not let go of someone when there is a good chance of the claims being false but rather suspend them and wait for the police report.
I see you point but the thing is... If Kris was a female, his reputation/career will be over without questions asked. In matter a fact, it might have ended earlier as this isn't the first girl who came out with something like this... Various girls throughout the years have said this but we're all shut down and written off as seeking fame/jealous. Like the boy who cry wolf, there is only so many coincidences that I personally can turn a blind eye to. The evidence by itself (that we know right now) is still too weak to say he raped a minor but strong enough to reveal his character: he sleeps around a lot, prefer his girls to be young/virgin, manipulative, and abuses his power/fame to get what he wants. Edit: Anyways, my point is that If these character traits were transferred to a female... She will be long gone. And if Zheng Shuang were male, people will be defending her by emphasizing how she didn't do anything against the law as it was done completely on US soil or comparing it to how many Chinese people go to another country to have their second born when china was still under the one child policy.
@@yanjunguo7748 I understand what you are saying but at the end of the day, nothing can be proven without evidence of the crime, yes many have spoken up about a similar issue but that sill doesn't prove anything, yes it is sad that sometimes what that are saying can be true but without evidence it will go no where. The evidence will prove who is vishous, who is seeking fame, who is the victim and who is the criminal. So all we can do is wait for the evidence
I agree to with you. Rationally, what the accusers lack in KW's case that delayed his consequences compared to ZS's is solid evidence. ZS's illegal actions and immoral behaviours were clearly proved by recordings and official documents. She had no chance of denying. Meanwhile, the victims of KW couldn't provide any solid evidence against him, except some screenshots of wechat conversations which unfortunately can be made up, and which didn't really show signs of a serious crime. I will not rule out other factors such as gender discrimination or power play, but at least on the front, the differences in available evidence reasonably lead to the different reactions/consequences. In the end, ZS will not go to jail for what she did, but KW might, if he's proven guilty. And the entertainment career apparently is over for both of them.

I think Kris Wu is in a much worse situation than zheng shuang when look at it through the lens of politics. It's probably inappropriate to get into politics but politics and entertainment are so intertwined in China. Chinese government needs something to distract people's attention from floods, covid and some other disasters and consolidate people's trust in CCP. Kris Wu is actually a perfect case for CCP to play with and he is Canadian which add another nuance to the whole chaos. Kris Wu won't have a place in the industry but zheng shuang still have a chance since her case is relatively much simpler.

The fact that anyone who drugged any woman unconscious or semi conscious to have sex is CRIME because cannot give valid consent. I can believe that because any upright person wouldn't go to social media initially and also post a phone shot of herself in bed with him. A decent, trustworthy person wouldn't do that. Seems the public opinion on social media in China can be devastating. I suspect these girls thought they would be his girlfriend after they had relations with him which is really naive. These cases are not the same...sorry. Why are you spreading this in YT? This can be devastating to actors. He isn't even a Chinese citizen. Seems the Netizens are a big problem in China. Terminations of his contracts is inane since he isn't convicted of anything. I feel whether he did anything or not other than sleep, maybe, with all these girls (one night stands), he will get convicted even if he didn't do what they are saying, the way they are saying. Everyone has an opinion but just because they can say it on websites doesn't mean they are right and should be making things worse for both of these actors.
Not only that she stated in her first interview that she had NEVER had six with Kris nor has she EVER slept with him. Then interview she said that she was speaking out on behalf of some other girls who have told her if their sexual escapades. Then the third interview she states that it was her younger sister that was the victim. So how can you even state that this girls accusations are credible?
She is not the only one who came forward but another one from united States and also 30 others. They all cannot be lying since so many victims have come forward. Seriously can a 14 years old give a valid consent? Does this law needs to be reviewed for change? Does this legal principle benefit male more? Can this law be fair to protect female? I guess it must be the majority of males who designed this legal principle to benefit themselves? Poor vulnerable females who have no voice in this matter!!!!
As of today, the tax evasion has been settled and ZS has to pay huge fines in the tens of millions. KW is in jail right now, he will get deported to Canada after he serves his term (he was born in China then became a Canadian citizen later). Tax evasion in the US will actually land you in jail. So personally I think she's lucky to have her freedom. I am not a fan of either of these two.
In conclusion, Chris Wu is done! All sympathy goes to the victims who can finally get justice and Congrats CCP, now we can talk about other things than floods, origin of COVID, Genocide, Beijing Olympic boycott etc…
I HOPE that DOES NOT happened to Kris. I mean he is talented. He can be restricted from being around young actresses. I just would hate to see someone have what he/she CAN do taken away him/her. Yes he does NEED psychological help. I honestly do not know the woman.
Who cares about his questionable "talent" when a serious crime is committed with so many vulnerable innocent VICTIMS being sexually abused who cannot give valid consent when semi conscious intoxicated or drugged !! His so called "talent" can be easily replaced because there are so many talented youngsters in billion population in China and around the world who are not given the opportunity to display their true talents.
