This tutorial was perfect! There were some parts that i didn’t really understand but after re-watching a certain part I understood. The pace that you set in the video was also perfect; In a lot of tutorials that I’ve tried following I had to slow it down over and over again but with yours I didn’t. ✨
i am so glad i found this crochet channel during quarantine🤣 all the things u make are trendy and up to date and also cute! cant wait to make a bunch of tops and other projects during quarantine
thanks so much, i hope you enjoy :)
Love this! I have been literally looking for headband tutorials and this is exactly what I wanted!
I’m so glad! Enjoy 💗
I’m going to give this a go. I love how you showed how to style it in different ways
I can’t use regular headbands as they always give me a headache. But it’s ungodly hot here and I’m going to be having my third baby any day now and would love something to keep my hair out of my face. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for watching :)
I finished this and I really like it! Not too difficult for my second project but I learned a ton.
Luv this girl ❤️
Nice work ❤
Thanks for sharing this tutorial 💓! But I couldn’t understand well the steps on making that triangle thing in the start. I ended up with small circle connecting instead of that slant.
I can’t wait to try this !
Yay! Hope you like :)
love this!! just finished it and looks lovely 🥰
so glad you enjoyed :)
so gorgeoussss!!
Thank you!
This is adorable!!! I'm gonna start making this for my friends!! Thanks for this!
Edit: i started making one, but I'm stuck with starting the DC rows. The hole seems to be huge where I start every DC row since I start them with a DC after the first stitch huhuhu i wonder what i'm doing wrong
I think you're on the right track. Mine looks like that too because of the 3 stitches counting as a DC. How did it turn out?
@@irmani5414 hii! Yeps, thankfully it looked fine once i finished it, and after putting single crochets around the whole thing.
this is making me wanna grow out my hair again!
i was having such a hard time not cutting it! hehe :) this would be adorable in short hair as well!
Good for us beginners and easy to follow instructions keep it up❤️
I’m glad you enjoyed! :)
Hermosa!!!
All the coquette girlies rushing to this video (I'm coquette girlies)
i can’t get even 5 minutes in 😭 i can’t identify the stitches correctly and end up with a bunch of holes
edit: i’m glad to say after a month working on crochet i can now do this :)
Not gonna lie I can't understand the beginning for one bit
Me neither
Same
Pretty 🤩
Hi! I'm a little confused. The double crochet part is back loop only?
5:29
Could I use HDC the whole way through instead of switching to DC? I’m making a bag and I want them to have matching stitches
ty so much for this!!!brb im gonna make this in every colour i ownn😩
can i do single crochet instead of dc??
the only yarn i have is a weight 4 acrylic yarn, will it work for this project?
Yes! If you follow the video exactly, the ribbon will be wider than mine though. So I would increase until you’re happy with how wide it is!
@@brittanyalicecrochet Great, Thank you!!!
Heyy can i use cotton yarn for this?
Hi can you do it shorter and do it from start to the end because I don't know how to do the end Hehehe I'm sorry if it to hard to you but I really like it
If I’m using jumbo yarn should I stitch 11 as well or would it be too thick because I want it to be the same as the original width.
am I double crocheting into the chain 3 ?????
Beginner here and this is my first time doing dc. When you’re working into the last stitch of the row for this pattern (top of the dc chain 3), do you just work into the top loop or the back bump as well?
I work into both the top and back loop of the chain 3s when working double crochets! I also have a video on my channel that specifically shows how to make double crochets under my "learn how to crochet" playlist if you need more help :)
Thanks, I’ll check out that video!
Oh god, I really can't tell what happened ir minute 3:00. Could someone please explain? 😥
She chained 2 loops then did 2 "half double crochets" into the one chain; ua-cam.com/video/ajIZThzJ36Q/v-deo.html there's a video showing the half double crochet

Can you give me tutorial how to tie a ribbon? Thanks 🥰
Is it normal that after the decresing Part, there are less than 11 Stiches a row? And I dont und erstand if I should end every row with a half Double crochet in the last Stich. My rows are less than 11 Stiches or I get little bumps on the sies if I end a row with a hdc. What am I ding wrong? 😢
I really like the headband! Can I ask how many grams of yarn did u use?
Thank you! This was scrap yarn, so I’m not sure the exact amount. I used Alize Bamboo Fine yarn which is 100g/480yds. I definitely used less than half of the skein so I hope this helps you :)
29 rowss
Will regular sized yarn work?
Yes, weight 4 will work just fine! The only thing I’d recommend is to not do as many increases at the very beginning of the pattern unless you want your headband to be very wide. Just make the increases until you like the width :)
brittanyalicecrochet thankyou! 💖
I used a 2.5 mm hook with #4 yarn
I tried following the dc part and always start on the 2nd stitch but it decreses every row and it's not even straight. Is it really that way or I'm just really doing it all wrong?
you might be forgetting a stitch at the very end of the row where the chain three was in the previous row because it doesn’t look like a spot you’d add a stitch but it works.
How many inches is the width of the headband? Im trying to recreate it with thicker yarn and am afraid of making the headband too wide.
Just about 2" wide!
brittanyalicecrochet thanku sm!!
Thx for uploading this video🥰 Btw how long is that hairband from start to end? It seems like more longer than 29“. Mine is 29“ too but it isn‘t long enough to tie ribbon🥺
ill come back when i get better at crochet lol
maybe try this video first: ua-cam.com/video/Tn92altrA1o/v-deo.html
Thank you!! This such a great tutorial, made it last night but it does not look good on my hair T_T I cant make it into a decent ribbon ( my fault, I know😅) I look like a cabbage with ribbon on top. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
hahaha this comment made me laugh, it took me a little while to be able to make a decent ribbon too ^_^
How wide is it?
Hi! Is the 29 measurement in inches? :)
Yes, I use inches for my measurements :)
Why does the video keep speeding up? I don't think I've ever stopped a video so much in my life and start over
I wish i discover tour channel earlier😭
aw, thank you!
How much is that in cm???
About 74 cm
So the first double crochet row was done back loop only and nothing was said until the last stitch you said “& now we’re just gonna do a ‘normal’ double crochet. The next row I couldn’t tell cuz u only did one stitch but it kind of looked like it was front loop double crochet. Is it FLO or a regular double crochet row. Is it all supposed to be double crochet and you just mistakenly did the first row BLO?
I thought the same thing but it’s all regular stitches throughout. No back loop only.
Like the pattern but this old person can’t crochet yarn that small or hooks that small. I can’t see it lol. I will try it with a size 3 or 4 cotton. In future, give measurements of item so we can adjust number of stitches to reflect same length in bigger yarn. Thanks
yes, great idea!
For number 4 yarn use 2.5 mm hook
Hi I really like this but the video is hard to follow so I wanted to use your website but it not working:(
I'm sorry, my website is no longer available but I do have a written pattern on Etsy linked in my description
I underestimate the thickness of my hair 😭
What thread do you se ?
I use Alize Bamboo Fine yarn, which is a fingering weight!
Okay but how to tie that beautiful bow😭
Honestly I don't even know haha!
Hi I'm a new subscriber and I couldn't find you on instagram.
I don't even know if you still have one.
hi there! no more instagram for me as im not making crochet content anymore, but i hope you enjoy the content already here! :)
@@brittanyalicecrochet oh I'm sorry I didn't know, I love your videos, good luck on whatever you're doing now .
@@paulovemx2222 thank you so much!
So hard to follow :(
