Do you still have an XP-50, and how have you maintained it? I have an XP-50 from 1995 and the keyboard keys and front panel buttons are all bad, most things don't work. It's essentially just a very clunky MIDI sound module. I think fixing it would cost much more than the value of the device.

Yes, I have two. Both are good so think you've been unlucky. Easier just to buy another as quite cheap these days.
